Are there any plans for looking at overall map balance? Things like the Badham and now Lery's rework are nice, but the biggest problem in this game I feel from most players is map balance. Maps feel too big for most killers, while also possibly containing complete dead zones for survivors. Not to mention things like exit gates being close together for EGC. I feel like maps could do with something like a size crunch but add more clutter/loops to make it so mobility doesn't feel as needed.

Probably not the best example. That clown wasn't playing very well, doing things like not breaking pallets that were too safe and throwing bottles when he didn't need to.
I mean I agree you don't need the meta stuff but this isn't the best evidence.

Don't think it was supposed to be a Q&A but a panel video update. Last week we got the week 5 livestream: #105 "Empower Hope."
Could have been a schedule conflict. I remember there was a Q&A on the reddit that got cancelled. Not sure if there's any relation and/or if I'm remembering that right.

LF because his power feels so useless. If it wasn't for the fact it has the potential to instant down or at least scare out an early pallet drop I'd say he'd be below Wraith.
Nurse because no matter what I can't get the hang of her, and I'm not willing to suffer in the meantime. Only play her at reset to try and practice and maybe grind out her achievements (got the 3 blink grab one finally). She's the only killer I actively refuse to play even if I get a daily for her.

I like this, would be much better than handicapping yourself so horribly just for a very short 12m vision radius. That's Amanda's Letter. Amanda's Secret is a purple addon.

Huh, doesn't show it works in the preview. Thought something was wrong, but thanks for all the info!

4 man SWF who all switched at the last moment to their items (2 purple flashlights, 1 BNP, 1 syringe). I was Huntress, and we ended up on Sheltered Woods so I knew (vacuum) pallets probably wouldn't screw me that much.
Despite my Ruin cleansed early, I got a couple downs, and I quickly learned how altruistic they were so I camped a bit (got some free hits and downed 1 guy who was the obsession just got rescued before he healed). After hooking 1 other guy I chased around the obsession through the shack and when he went down he got syringed by another guy standing by but I downed him again after. After he used DS I hit him again with a hatchet and he DC'd on the spot. Other 3 I got one at a time through chasing and slugging, ended up with 2 DCs and two sacs.
Felt so good to beat them. They of course called me bad for camping (even though it was just a mini patrol cause I knew they were rushing the hook). The salt from entitled survivors like this is so satisfying.

Note that despite what I say, depending on the map you get and the skill levels of survivors: some games might just end up being tunneling to get something. No matter what, sometimes you end up with that team who coordinates too well that ending a chase early will net you nothing. I'm also kinda killer biased as I think there are still a lot of issues of balance that still need to be addressed survivor side. I try to avoid tunnelling outside of toxic survivors who clearly just want to troll me, but in those games I get frustrated and I wanna reap something.
Personally I end a chase when the survivor has enough distance after a stun/window vault/pallet drop, or when they've gotten to an infinite* loop that I don't wanna bother with. Or they're clearly trying to waste my time, or when I'm chasing them into a place with no generators.
Now if they're injured and they just got a stun on me, I may still go after them. However if they say went from a jungle gym to the window on Groaning Storehouse I might just throw up my arms and find someone else. They'll at least spend time away trying to heal, but if it's early game I wanna pressure the other survivors so they don't do gens freely.
Also sometimes I don't bother going after a guy if they sprint burst away unless I know they ran into an unsafe area. Sometimes I like to gamble that by the time I catch back up to them I can hit them before they get to another safe tile.
Don't forget however what killer you're playing. If Hag or Trapper maybe you want to scare them off just so you can get back to setting up your stuff. If Huntress maybe they got to an area where your hatchets aren't good, or maybe you're Micheal and you just wanna stalk.
Yes I know technically infinites aren't there anymore with bloodlust and window blocking, but some windows can just buy so much time it's ridiculous. If someone gets to the Ironworks, Storehouse, or Cowshed window I just give up sometimes cause especially if the pallets around them are still there it can take up to a full minute to hit them once.
It's up to you though to gauge it, and also pay attention to how the game is flowing. For me personally if they're getting to a safe area and the chase has been broken, I won't bother unless they're perhaps going to a gen that might have other survivors. Though if gens are taking a bit I might just keep going to down them or get certain pallets out of the way.

Actually Borrowed Time works even if the rescuer is awake when he does the save (only in the Lullaby range), so Coulrophobia and other terror radius perks might work.

This isn't really any proof. You start them in different spots plus there's the fact that tile spawns can make their paths different which messes up their times. You can't draw any conclusive result when they're run in completely different test environments. Like in your test video Trapper never had to walk around a rock in the corner and back up like you did with the Clown in his test.
Need to have it in a place where there's no obstacle difference like a Haddonfield hedge or the Bedham hallway. A place where the distance is easily measurable and human error nor map RNG can play a part.

What I would like is that teleporting to a trap doesn't kill your momentum, or you can full lunge from teleporting. I've missed a lot because you have to run for a second before you can lunge, or sometimes it just doesn't lunge at all. I think this alone could make her so much more consistent.

What I would really like is some kind of training addon like Doctor's Maple Knight or Nurse's Plaid Flannel where it shows the destination/zone.
Like it could help so much for those learning. If nothing else maybe if the tutorial is expanded you can have these things for the killers in the stress free environment.

What makes him so useless is how he walks slower than a survivor when revving the saw. It makes those times when you can actually use the saw so rare agains. I really wish the actual chainsaw frenzy lasted longer than 3 seconds so you could actually use it better in a chase.
If not that then just give him at least nurse or survivor speed while revving (Billy is survivor speed when revving for comparison).
Though if they do anything to buff, probably one thing to balance: If he gets pallet stunned during a chainsaw frenzy, he should go into a tantrum instead of a normal stun. Should be rewarded for hitting that high risk stun.
However they may have to fix his addons first before they try anything.
He should be that killer who truly punishes you for bad positioning.
