He just got buffed, so I'm afraid that's the strongest he's gonna be. Against new players, you'll still have the advantage because of his pallet breaking with the whip, and the unpredictability of the zombies. But trying to learn him and get good with him against good players, you'll just hit a ceiling.
I think myers and wesker are the best iconic characters in the game but myers sucks because he loses his power eventually.

I wish I didn't fell for the Anniversary 5th hype and kept my money. What a waste of my $11.99 dollars. Like you said, Nemesis is nothing alike from the RE games.

i didn't know that leaving the match because you don't want to find a better way to cope with your general burnout from playing the game way too much is a balance issue.
If we actually balanced the game around fragile egos of people, imagine what a disaster this game would be
Instead of everyone not willing to queue up as survivor, nobody would be willing to play the killer role.

Might I ask, what about the gameplay exactly is that you dislike? This would really help to understand your struggle.
Edit: I for myself really enjoy the game itself. What I struggle with is the often unbearable playerbase.
Additionally, I feel like I have regrets spending my money on this game and on a few DLC. I love playing Bill and Ghostface, but the playerbase makes it so bad I just can't stand looking at the game.

It's the players that make this game awful. I had played survivor for over a year now and it's been nothing but survivors giving up on hook, disconnecting or throwing the game on purpose.
Then when I play killers, I get the most sweatiest survivors trying to make my life as miserable as they possibly can, making the game a slog.
Why should I be playing dead by daylight when there are games that aren't miserable to play and not infested with a insufferable playerbase?

Yea they can make the game look good graphically but if the gameplay sucks then the game sucks. They can release a million chapters but nothing will change that.
