Teach me a lesson. Do it. I've been trying to get better at being chased, and I taunt click and teabag to get the killers ire.
One day I'll get tunneled the entire game and still manage to escape.
Now I'm scared to play killer. This actually puts fear in me. XD

If I've said it once I'll say it again, it's the survivors fault. The game is about the killer hooking as many people as possible.
If you got spotted and hooked, and I see you again, Yes I'm coming after you.
Also let's clear something else up, it doesn't help the survivors case when some players go out or their way to find the killer taunt them, teabag, and dare you to chase them.
You do that you can bet your last dollar I will make sure you don't exit. I'll let everyone else go just to teach you a lesson.
Exactly. As a survivor in solo queue, when I see my teammates teabagging the killer or taunting the killer, I genuinely hope the killer catches them. And as a Killer, when I see a survivor teabagging I take it as them wanting to be chased. And yes, for the most part it is the survivors's fault. I completely agree with that. And in solo queue I suffer from that the most.

There're already several ways to counter tunneling. DS, borrowed time, we'll make it, taking protection hits, sprint burst/dead hard off hook. Just being in general a better player whether that means looping better or not saving teammates in a dumb way that gets them downed again.
The truth is survivors have all the tools they need to counter tunneling but 90% of players in this game are bad and blame the game/killer rather than themselves.
That's mostly true, but from a solo queue stand point (Without being survivor sided) The only perks that actually help are DS and Sprint Burst/ Dead Hard. Both Borrowed time and We'll make it have to be used by another person in order to successfully. I'm actually glad that almost everyone who commented on this one didn't go straight to "Ur JuST bAD", and I'm glad you pointed out Dead Hard and Sprint Burst, because those are both good options that I didn't think about.
But all of those perks, including DS and Dead Hard/ Sprint Burst can only temporarily stop tunneling. Sprint burst + DS are definitely going to be the most effective, considering I could get off the killer's shoulder if they tunnel me, and then Sprint Burst away. I definitely need to get better at looping.
Thank you all for being very upfront though and giving good advice. Greatly appreciated.

I am sure you would not mind, if killers got Pop as basekit, so they are more motivated to go away from hook.
I actually wouldn't mind. I think it would be a good idea, and WOULD encourage killers to go away from the hook.
-
Yes. I understand there are strategies. Yes I understand there are times camping is an actual strategy.
But the majority of times this situation happens to me, it has no skill to it. I have killers tunneling me for no good reason. I get off the hook and killers wait for me. They don't even go for the other person, they just wait for me to get downed again.
And camping killers just camp me for no good reason either.
But there is no strategy for simply put, "Not getting camped." Especially in solo queue. Just like you said, I cannot control what the other players do. So therefore I cannot stop the killer from camping me, and I cannot make other survivors save me. That doesn't make me ungracious for getting camped. If I cannot control what the killer does, it is therefore not my fault for what the killer does, because it isn't in my control.
Thank you.

bruh only dumb killers will use uneffective secondary power. We don't need that until you figure out how to make it viable
It's not meant to buff Leatherface. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't need a buff. And it doesn't make someone dumb for wanting to use a secondary power. If you want to keep leatherface how he is that's fine, but you don't have to complain about a suggestion that won't make it into the game.

You can slug and chase another survivor. That's much better than a deep wound. You can hook person and that's much better than deep wound. Nothing is better than a downed survivor. Not deep wound, mangled, exposed etc. Bubba should m1 people with these effects to make them kinda worth using on the vaults where you can't chainsaw
Like I mentioned before. You don't have to use this. This isn't making it so you can't slug and chase another survivor. This is just adding a secondary ability so people who DO want to use this can.

Why do i want to injure survivor instead of downing them?
It's only a concept for a secondary ability. But it would have some benefit for the killer, and would change how he is played slightly.
Take into consideration the Pig's power, the Reverse Bear Trap.
Most games you won't kill players with the trap, however it has the benefit of slowing the game down.
In this secondary ability concept, it might help slow generator progress, and if it does both of those things when using the secondary (Deep wound, and reveals another survivor) Then Leatherface can stop chasing the first survivor (Who has to mend, and becomes one hit until healed, and therefore helps slow the game down) and Leatherface can begin chasing another survivor.
It wouldn't be a mandatory ability, but it might find new gameplay and might change how Leatherface can be played.

Oh, ok. Now I get it.
I feel like this would be OK, but no one would use it if they have the potential to instadown, or M1 since they wouldn't waste as much time.
Perhaps in the competitive side. But I've been looking at older killers and how they could be changed to fit the newer playstyle of the game.
Maybe instead of deep wounding them, it could make the closest survivor in a certain range scream.
As I mentioned before, it would only be secondary, and it's meant to aim towards changing how Leatherface is played only slightly.

I don't get this.
Tantrum is when you run into a wall and get stunned, though you still down any survivors who run into you.
Did you mean just using the chainsaw when you said Tantrum?
Yes, I apologize for the misconception. I didn't mean he would ONLY have his tantrum. That statement was implying how he still has ALL of his old powers. This was a suggestion so that Leatherface isn't just a chainsaw swinging killer. I felt that adding a secondary ability to him might change his gameplay a little but without ruining his old gameplay.

You don't down people with Tantrum. Ever. Making only Tantrum instadown is a huge nerf, no matter how good the second ability is. Not to mention the fact that deep wounds and broken do NOTHING against a good survivor.
Play more killer before you suggest changes.
One more thing. I have sacrificed almost 1000 survivors in public matches. Please do not assume I don't play killer. And I don't believe adding a secondary power is a nerf. I didn't even mention changing his old power, I only suggested adding a secondary for some variety in how Leatherface can be played.

Downing players with his chainsaw doesn't down them? This isn't changing his original power, but adding a secondary? Please read my edits for a better understanding.

No. This is a nerf.
How is adding a second ability a nerf?

This is a nerf and you seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of how Bubba works and what differentiates him from Billy. Those 2 play completely differently
How is it a nerf? This is just adding a second ability?

Look, I understand what you mean by "fun", but what do you mean by "If Myers is so garbage, then it won't matter to you if he gets nerfed." I can't tell if this is a joke or something because this is ridiculous. I also think Michael is really fun to play against IMO. And if you don't like playing against him that's okay. But it doesn't mean he needs to be nerfed.
I really don't think any of the killers you mentioned need rework ideas. I don't think killers need reworks at all, just little tweaks, mainly buffs for the weak ones, Leatherface is fine now, I don't have a problem with him, only the people who play him, doesn't mean he should be changed
however I do like your pig idea, a lot. With that, I think the chance of getting the trap off should be raised just to compensate for the time loss of a failed attempt.
I don't want to get off on the wrong foot with you but you gotta think on both sides of the game and what's better for them
I don't want to get on the wrong foot either. But like I said, it was just an opinion. And it wasn't that they needed nerfs, they were just ideas.
But I will stand with my last two. I think a faster more gruesome animation for stepping in the Trapper's bear traps would induce more fear for me. And the Pig for sure. I also agree with upping the odds of getting the reverse bear traps off.
Thank you for your opinion, I appreciate it.

even then, a rank 8, you're barely out of green ranks, and idc what your survivor rank is dude, It's your killer rank that shows how good you are, most survivors are boosted anyways. I don't see why you would nerf myers, he's already hot garbage, why make him worse. In fact why not give him more stalk if someone is looking directly at him. your logic is completely flawed.
First and foremost, before you start rambling on about my "Flawed" ideas. Try reading it again and look for the word FUN. In fact, I believe I mentioned I don't like playing competitively. If Myers is so garbage, then it won't matter to you if he gets nerfed. Not that it would matter anyway because IT'S ONLY AN OPINION.
But to reinstate why this was my opinion. Almost every killer has a way to counter them, that isn't completely flawed. However when it comes to Myers, the only way to avoid getting stalked is essentially...
Not getting stalked...?
I can only avoid Michael's power by not getting looked at. From many perspectives of new players and players who don't play this game competitively, this isn't fun. Everybody I play this game with all groan when it's Michael Myers because we don't find him fun to play as.
And maybe instead of just calling my ideas "Flawed" you could suggest something on top of my own, maybe to counter the nerf so Michael may even be better.
Once, again JUST AN OPINION,
But thank you

what's your pig rank?
I used to play Pig when I first started the game. I don't play killer as much because most of my games are filled with red and purple ranks when I barely get into green ranks. In fact I'm mostly yellow rank.

noed: no need to nerf it, break totems (which will be easier with the new totem perk coming up)
myers: a nerf to an already bad killer
leatherface: drop the pallet when he is right behind you, focus on doing gens if he is camping
pig: traps were designed to delay the game, not to kill survivors
First off, I'd like to REMIND that this was all an opinion.
But I'd like to further explain why this was even recommended.
NOED: (Recommended because not all totems are obvious, and it's not like I can make small game magically appear in my bloodweb at will)
I understand that NOED doesn't need to be nerfed to the ground, but I feel some kind of cooldown between knocking down survivors would make the game FUN. Not good for competitive, but FUN for players. And even competitively, this wouldn't change NOED too much, because between the time it will take you to find a survivor and then get close enough for a hit, the cooldown will be done.
This is almost exactly like the DS nerf, which everyone says is bad, but realistically doesn't make a competitive difference.
MYERS: (Recommended because the only way to counter Myers is by not getting stared at.)
This was a suggestion to make Myers feel more FUN for survivors. Rather than him staring at you constantly and then knocking you down, if you stare back it pauses it for him. Like I said, just a suggestion.
LEATHERFACE: I knew someone would say that. So allow me to remind you that there aren't pallets everywhere, there are not vaults everywhere, and you won't always be beside them while doing a generator. Like I said I don't know how to approach Leatherface as a rework because I understand it isn't cool to get rid of his chainsaw.
PIG: (Recommended because her main power, the Reverse Bear Traps, are extremely underwhelming to go against, and to use)
This, just like most of my suggestions were made because I feel it would add a horror factor when going against her, that comes from her traps.

I feel like the name has more of a backstory meaning than a power meaning. Another example could be The Clown or the Hillbilly. Their powers don't directly relate to their name.
They probably named him this, because his character is very human, even more than the legion (Because all of Legion Members wear a mask). It makes sense when you think about it, because even in his backstory he was famous and people knew him, but he was actually crazy behind the scenes.
I just feel like changing the name to something relating to a "Show" and his costume might confuse new players into thinking he has a relation with The Clown. Plus something like "The Star" gives a positive feeling, where "The Trickster is reminiscent of his positive past, but negative intentions.
