Some additional information — I've uninstalled and re-installed on both my PC and my Xbox console. The attachment is from my PC screen. I am currently unable to play the game normally on my console. It will show as people disconnecting in the match while they are all still present, and random DC sounds through it the match. The one DC chain icon replaced character portraits and I can’t tell what health state (or hook state as it shows inaccurate) the teammates are at — picture attached is when two people had died and me and the remaining survivor on death hook. My friends list on the console version is also messed up, but only showing as 34 pending invitations unlike the PC version (triple digits).

I have the exact same problem Have you seen any update? It seems this has been an issue with no resolution for two months now…

I have been having similar experiences. I had a Myers, but the terror radius was ON - both times (different games). I even had this happen on the pig (radius on) and the oni!

I played some rounds as killer, and they feel well-matched. I've 4k matches which still felt balanced and not a walkover. Likewise, I had one 0k match, which was as much because of mistakes I made as it was the competency of my opponents.
The survivors I've faced have been well-organised and efficient, leading me to think I'm being put up against 2/3/4-swf teams, or very competent solo survivors. Eitherway, I'm quite flattered MMR deems me of that same skill level!
Also, in a post on General Discussions, the new MMR also is starting to weed out those players who derank purposefully to bully newcomers. This is great, since people can no longer dominate those who are trying to learn the game. This may lead to those toxic types of players leaving, but bring in more players who feel the game is a nit more balanced and overall benefit the community.
If that's a side effect to this, slap this MMR on right away! :D. My only gripe is that the test could have been for more than 24 hours. Maybe it'll work for you as you have all those match data to hand, but for me personally it would've been nice to see how it evolved over a longer period of time.
In conclusion, it's looking good devs! It's looking good.
I thought about this as well and I forgot to mention it. I really hope this update can stop those killers form purposely de-ranking to dominate over newer survivors.
Even when I have to rank up after months of inactivity, I find those killers and they get even crueler when they find out I’m not just “new”!

Survivor Main Perspective
After a few games, I felt that it had a decent balance!
At first, I was so shocked to have a variety of ranks in one game. EX; 16, 12, 5, 8, & 3 (Mix Survivor & Killer). These were pretty much “???” for some: the non-healer, the give-up-on-hook, etc. Then the real fun began!
Even if I saw some different ranks, they still had a similar *play style* method. I felt there was a pretty even match between killer and survivor: each getting high blood points. Even if some escaped, it was like death hooks for most!
I thought it was cool, because I recently came back from a long couple months of not playing and I know how frustrating it can be to be back at Rank 10 playing with first timers trying to get back up to purple / red. I felt that some of the lower ranks I’d match with were very good players (or at least decent).
I’m a decent player, on / off good skills but I have my bad times too 😂. Not a beginner, but no expert! Usually keep a rank 5/6 but I’ve been a 5/4 during the SBM and even today (a day after). I played almost ten hours to test it out. Hope this feedback helps at all!

Actually, I’m a console user (Xbox One) and I’ve been experiencing this a lot lately!
& When I have to change the outfit in the lobby, I look like a douche 🥲 showing off when I just want to be pretty lol.

Because you are being inconsiderate in insisting on playing when you KNOW your internet is unstable. Sort out your problems and then come back. Every game you disconnect from is messing up the experience for FOUR other people. Fix your internet, or find a game that is less demanding of the resources you have.
Honestly, that’s not the best solution! You’re excluding a huge portion of DBD consumers who make up their target market... many users are college students, or individuals that live in apartment complexes. These people have no control of their internet and some places even BAN the use of private internet set-ups on their property. To simply say “get over it” or “pay for better WiFi” is not helpful and somewhat elitist.
If there’s not a fix for identifying the “network loss” and “intentional dc”, then there shouldn’t be such harsh penalties. I think keeping the 5-min DC is fine, but nothing more - especially with the refresh rate of these DCs counting over DAYS (can dc three times in two days and be pushed into 30min ban). There’s always the idea of NOT ALLOWING anyone to leave game within the first 5 or 10 minutes - perhaps graying out the leave option? THATS a solution to stop players from screwing over their teammates. The current dc timer doesn’t address that very well and instead hurts many of their players.
Anyone agree?
