  • Play in higher ranks around 10~8 they don't use it often.

All this stupid backlash pisses me off, and the majority of people on these forums are the most hypocrital people. They want cosmetics they don't want to pay for. They want characters, and content they expect free. They want free progression, free characters, and free dlc. Then turn around and expect a bug free, cross platform, with cross progression like as if getting that ######### doesn't cost - well I don't know - MONEY?! All the ######### while this game requires so much difficult coding because it's a HORROR GAME.

    I can even go further.

Let's talk about balancing. Like what the actual ######### people. This is supposed to be a FUN CASUAL GAME! The most of these players can't seem to get that through their heads. They want to min max everything, and be as competitive as humanly possible - ruining the game for the people who actually just want to have fun, and ruining the game for players that want to play Killer because all they get is bullied, and have to sweat every round just to be able to do sub-par.

How about the consistent toxicity? Calling each other every single thing but a human, literally people telling others to kill themselves over a casual game. Dead by Daylight ended up getting a renown for having THE MOST toxic community in current day gaming - even worse than World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Rainbow Six: Siege.

Then the sheer amount of people that come on these forums and just straight up talk out of their ass - that know absolutely nothing about the games actual balance, programming, or development of the game.

Like seriously BHVR is one of the few companies that has the most communication with their playerbase, and they get torn apart for it. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they go as quiet as triple AAA titles and start telling their hypocritcal playerbase "We don't care if you don't like it".

To be honest, if anything BHVR is doing at this point is straight up a scam. I'm not surprised, with the amount of bullying they have gotten since I started playing. The players deserve it. Hands down. I wouldn't be surprised if the company did just want to take as much money as they can humanly scrap from this game and then walks away from their un-appreciative audience.

I can see where you are coming from and understand what you are saying. I do however believe they are trying to keep us appeased as a community. Do I think ;the player base deserves some back-lash yes sir but I don't think gouging our all of our wallets is the right call. BHVR has a wide platform of games that they get plenty of revenue off of. It wouldn't surprise me at all if DbD is a love child of a developer and they don't want to let it go to die just yet.

  • They weren't originally going to do this much for the event I firmly believe that the people pushed them to do this event the way they are doing it now if you want to be mad at anyone be mad at the community that wants a mile after asking for an inch.

  • I believe they did it this way this year so people can actually choose if they want to have the skins or not. By giving us the resources they allow us a different kind of freedom to pick what we want instead of the "Here is your skins go Hamm" I personally prefer having the resources since I only get maybe 1~3 skins on characters I REALLY like. It allows me to put those points into perks from people I don't necessarily want to play. At least those are my thoughts on it.

  • Where you went wrong here is you simply didn't plan out your purchases properly. If you are on the forum you will have noticed a trend of people complaining about not enough free stuff and BHVR in kind responded with this new event. What you should have done is wait till the last day or two of the event where you buy whatever your heart contends to. by doing this you are playing with the skins you know for a little longer but you get the best return on your effort and currency. As far as the EULA goes its like going to any store in the U.S. They have the right to refuse service for any reason, period. Just because BHVR and Steam partner to put this game out to us it is ultimately BHVR's call as to refund you or not. I urge you to next time sit on your currency and watch what the community starts demanding. BHVR give us an awful lot of play and tries to appease even the most demanding of players. I hope you can understand what I am trying to get to you and I hope you take this lesson in stride for future purchases.

  • Though Mori's are fairly common (and Keys) I feel they the mori's don't get used nearly as often as they are presented. I play both sides and I will admit I used mori's religiously for a while when I felt I was against a swf but I ended up stopping because using them plateaued my rank for two days at most now I take a green Mori if I see a key but that's more for the fear factor of me having it. If I even use the Mori that game at all it's usually the third or fourth kill.

On survivor side when I see a mori It makes me play gen aggressively to try and at least get two of us out of the map for a statistical "draw". I personally don't use keys because I have builds that do the same or better than what a key can do. I can't find the hatch if my life depended on it if I am looking for it either.

In all retrospect I see way more keys than mori's but I dont think with the way the game is set up as is makes either particularly overpowered. Especially given that you have to get gens for keys and you lose more points than sacrificing when it comes to mori's. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

  • You have aim assist? I play Caleb and I have yet to have aim assist for my shots especially since most of my shots miss by () much.

  • In the pregame chat see if your other survivors are willing to help you get there. its a bit rng but its the best option for you

  • I tend to give the baby survivors the hard end of the stick (or glove in my case). I come from a place where you learn to deal with something by experiencing and evaluating it. Not to say that I haven't given a hatch or two it all depends on if their buddies decide to Blue Falcon out of the match or not.

  • I am a Freddy main and I use both Blood Warden and Remember Me. I find both perks to be just fine as they are. With Blood Warden I have slugged a survivor near the gate slapped the gate open as a killer then bring the slugged survivor to a hook preferably the obsession but I take who I can get. IF they get their friend off the hook they try immediately for a gate which to their surprise is blocked by the Entity. Remember Me has gotten me way too many hooks just by giving me those few extra seconds to get there and help me trigger my Blood Warden. Survivors who encounter this usually don't know what to do when this happens so like Corrupt Intervention they stay in the gate. Lo and behold I see them thanks to the all mighty Blood Warden and can slug or chase off the survivors there. by the time they get to the other gate its already too late for them to open it so they either hail Mary the open gate of just get sacced to EGC. Blood Warden and Remember Me don't see a lot of play to you because they aren't "good" in the current meta so they just don't show up. I also use both perks on Caleb (Deathslinger) with great results.

Being totally honest I don't ever make it to the gates opening in most of my games. I either get my 4k or a 3k with hatch when they need one gen left. I effectively play one perk Freddy most games I play with him. I believe they are actually underrated as perks because of the hive mind meta.

  • Freddy is my guilty pleasure blood warden and remember me are my jam
