I agree with most of this except...
"I'd rather wait than feel so uncomfortable because of situations like that one again." I might be in the minority, but I would rather play people who out rank me and get stomped and try to get better, then wait for 15 minutes for a game because my rank reset. Only as long as it isn't every game.
Waiting for que's is what takes me out of the game and makes me want to switch it up and play something else. Both the match making and rankings are broken. The monthly resets do not affect the die hard, play all the time people. They do affect the people who play frequently but take breaks, and even the noobs.
31,544 playing 39 mins ago according to Steam Charts. 43,575 24 hour peak. Thats 6,308/8,715 potential games during those times. It baffles me that it takes as a Rank 16 killer 10-15 minutes to find a game. Insane.
If I play a killer or survivor that I dont usually use, or with perks I dont usually use to work on getting a tome challenge done, I have to wait again to que back up. 10-15 minute ques, and 10-15 minute games. Not much time to get as much gameplay in as I should be with the current concurrent player base if I cant be on for hours and hours at a time.
There has to be SOMETHING that can be done.

VOIP would be nice in a perfect world, but as toxic as post game chat is now, I PROMISE toxicity would be 10x worse with voip. Even among survivors alone. A ping/quick help menu could be good. But after some time on Friday the 13th, VOIP is not a good idea.
