Honestly it's only ever happened to me personally one time ever. Maybe it's a rank or platform difference (I'm rank 6 on ps4) but I've only been cheated like that once.

Honestly if you take bits and pieces of what you're saying, I don't think it would be a bad idea for some of these thoughts to become perks at least. Little nudges to make killer gameplay better and if balanced right could really mix up the perks we see in killers. Things like getting a very minor speed buff for every hit, which could tie in nicely with perks like Play With Your Food to just play cat and mouse with the survivors. Plus, this style of gameplay would give survivors a better chance to work on gens rather than being hooked immediately.
Branching off my original post, in order to balance it better the killer starts off slower than their typical speed so they need a couple hits just to get up to normal. That way you don't start out the game with being faster from the very first hit but gives survivors a good bit of hope if they are decent at evading and can avoid getting hit at all. Like The Shape's basic ability, you can only hit each person maybe 8 times for a maximum effect of 24 hits with 24 tiny speed boosts.

I think you make a very valid point and i understand your concern. I especially understand that nagging feeling of having it pop-up in your face after every game. That said, i personally feel like having ongoing tasks really makes me motivated to actually play the game when i might otherwise drop it for weeks at a time. Have a sort of short-term goal in sight makes gameplay far more rewarding for me. Then again, I'm content in the mindset that I'm not going to be able to complete everything and i just enjoy the tasks as they come. Perhaps there could be an alternative trivial questing type aspect to the game that would be less intrusive to those who find it bothersome?

I completely agree that it is very annoying to deal with, but I don't think there is a very practical way to deal with it. Me and some of my friends on ps4 have encountered some sort of glitch that kills us halfway through the struggle phase on hooks even if we're spamming struggle. For me personally, it would be an absolute pain to be punished for something so difficult to control.

Ghostface in a heartbeat. The stealth aspect is so hard to play against but with Ghostface specifically I just cannot avoid dying every single time.

Playing last night I actually got almost instant queues as survivor after playing for about 3 hours straight (which is incredibly unusual). If anything, I've noticed it's better.
My killer queue times seemed about average.
