My killer games have been pretty normal tbh. There was like a week or two where it felt harder for some reason, so I took a few days away from the game and my games have felt normal since then.
-
Literally every time there's a new killer, ppl playing against them are convinced that nerfing them to the ground is the only way to "learn to counter" them
-
Wraith has speed add-ons and can only see gen auras with that addon when invisible, as well as speed add-ons only work while invisible. So what's stopping wraith from cloaking mid chase and deciding he wants to pressure a very red gen? Same with Legion. He can only see the gen aura intensity while in Frenzy. He's faster in Frenzy for like 11 seconds now, so again, what's stopping Legion from injuring everyone and then going to the most red gen? Springtrap can only see the intensity of gens while using the doors, and survivors barely use those (in my experience), so there's no point in using them unless you're close to one and planning to actually go across the map for some reason.

It's crazy that BHVR uses the Nurse as an excuse to create more overpowered killers because Nurse is the strongest killer and is available to everyone for free. Meanwhile Springtrap is easy to play almost as easy as The Ghoul and get free wins left and right.
"Easy to play" while you literally need the skills of Huntress to use his main power.
-
Springtrap is literally Huntress with extra steps and can teleport. If you can't play against a Huntress that can only throw a hatchet every 7ish seconds, that says something.
-
Legion doesn't abuse the mending effect. That's literally his whole power. If you don't like it, you can simply DC
-
Then the experienced players should learn to stop crying because of a status effect and learn to deal with it, counter it. If they can handle being exposed for 30s or being exhausted for 40s, then they can handle 5 seconds of slow movement. Being less greedy with a pallet isn't hard either
-
I don't think getting gen rush perks buffed and killer gen slowdown perks needed to the ground is considered "crumbs" to a survivor. That's a whole 5 course meal to them
-
I always break that last one 😭

I have no problem playing as or against Skill Merchant. I feel like anyone who does decide to DC or die off first hook is their problem. A DC is whatever because the other survivors get to at least keep a bot which is still a functional teammate who we all know would be better than the original player anyway. If anyone genuinely has a problem with the Skull Merchant because of that one game they got slugged for 3 seconds and they dared to kick a gen, then that sucks to be them, because not everyone is like that and ppl just need to accept that. Similar to how not every Mega main is a toxic piece of trash, not every Skull Merchant is out to get you simply because their favorite content creator claimed it's the best way to play.

I kinda thought this too when I first understood the use of the sacrificial ward. It kinda makes sense that players would get their map offering back if someone used a sacrificial ward, but it doesn't work like that sadly. Maybe it would just be difficult or pointless to have separate code for just a singular offering unless we get more offerings that reject others

No one is getting compensation for any possible changes in DbD because it's never happened before as far as I remember in my 2-3 years of playing DbD and we don't need compensation for everything in the game. It's just that simple

I'm realising I really shouldn't have brought up the tooltip at all, now everyone thinks that's the focus as opposed to the people who talk about patrolling generators…
But still, "go gen to gen to find survivors" is the thing I'm saying people shouldn't do, regardless of where they got the idea. The tooltip was just phrased in a way that helped my point because it talked about finding survivors, which was the angle I was taking too: That's the worst way of doing it and should be a last resort, not a basic gameplan.
You do realize that the tip is for beginner players right? There's no way you genuinely think it's something the average killer thinks about and yes patrolling gens is the best thing you can do to find survivors. Do you expect killers to just sit in a corner of the map and magically find survivors that way? Because it doesn't work like that
-
The purpose of the tip is to let newer players know that since the generators are the main objective of the survivors, it makes sense to go to their objectives to start a chase and all that. Obviously everyone at some point knows not to go in a huge circle around the map to find survivors and if you genuinely think killers are just that stupid and you're that upset over a tip in the game that literally no one is gonna read anyway, then you need to hop off the game and play something else. Sure obviously the main objective of the killer is to kill the survivors, but how do you expect them to find survivors? Around generators and random tiles they happen to pass by. So while it may not be the best tip in your opinion, it's still a good tip for beginner players to have an idea on how to find survivors. No one ever said that patrolling generators is their main objective and you don't gotta act like everyone ever did say that. And killers should be kicking generators because it slows the game down which gives the killer an easier time and also more time to kill the survivors. I highly doubt you've ever touched killer a day in your life if you genuinely think a killer has that mindset and they should just never go near generators or kick them. Like what do you expect killers to do? Give you a free escape? Obviously not. They're gonna kill you whether you like it or not and you will accept it
-
Ok first of all, you don't just make the claim that DbD is killer sided and then say "Don't talk about SWFs" because they're "Irrelevant" and then just leave it there. Why is the game killer sided in your opinion? And then explain why you believe SWFs are irrelevant? SWFs are just good survivors which the game is full of, but they're in the same trial and well coordinated with comms, and last I checked, any good survivor can be well coordinated even in SoloQ and still manage to get a 4 man out. Even if his teammates are bad. And no the Mori update will not "kill" the game. How long have we had the Mori system? Literally since the beginning of the game. And when has BHVR decided to make it base kit for killers? Since like 2 years ago, but the idea never happened because it encouraged slugging, and now it's in the game but you can only Mori the last survivor standing which last I checked, there used to be an offering for but it doesn't exist anymore. And you've been getting Mori'd all the time so the chances of getting Mori'd as the last one standing is not gonna kill you. Like unless you're a sore loser at the game and will DC just before the Mori ends or hook death ends to tell the killer to off themselves or whatever survivors say these days, then the Mori thing will have no change on the game
-
Also has an easy power to pick up so obviously he's gonna be pretty easy to get multiple kills imo
-
And it's kinda funny because this guy is complaining that Wesker is easy to play and claiming that he plays him. Like, I genuinely didn't think it was possible to complain about being good at the game but I guess this guy + being in the DbD Community made that possible
-
That really depends.. how good are you against him? Are you bad against him? And if so, is it only Wesker? Because you're only explaining how good you are at him and somehow still crying about it which is quite new. I didn't know crying about being good at a killer was a thing, but then again, Tatariu exists, so... Anyways, Wesker isn't even that strong to begin with sure he's got a power that's quite easy to pick up, but he's still fairly hard to play and not everyone knows how to counter him. Also, not to be that guy, but "whatsoever" is one word

Something I like to do sometimes when I encounter a Lithe player is tricky them into wasting it usually at a not so strong loop and then just chase after them. Survivors use Lithe so they have an easier time getting to another loop that is safer than the last. So I just make the survivor waste lithe and keep them at a loop, and if that doesn't work, just run some perk that effects survivors with exhaustion like Blood Echo or Mindbreaker
