The best solution would be to remove the score event if the stun doesn’t happen, so that it doesn’t confuse players.
I'm not sure if we're watching the same video. The stun indeed happened… that's the whole point of this thread.

It doesn't matter if you got points for a pallet stun. Pallet stuns don't actually register a stun, until the pallet is dropped by around 50%.
But it doesn't make any sense. If the game rewards you for a stun that means that you stunned the killer, then how do I still get hit? It's clearly an issue without and logic explanation.

Your video shows the hit was fine. Look at this screenshot. You got hit way before the pallet was near 50% dropped. Pallet stuns don't happen immediately after a pallet starts to drop. The pallet has to go down to something like 50% before the game considers it a pallet stun.
