"If many of these problems are supposedly caused by players simply being too good at the game, then explain to me what the MMR system is for—especially when it barely works in the first place."
- The part about good players was refering to the "solutions", especially the anti tunnel one with 30 sec of endurance + unable to hook the survivor again which would result in boldly healing under the hook with 0 pressure to move because the unhooked can simply bodyblock the killer, so the killer would be forced to wait out the 30 sec or hit immediately to then down that survivor who can then get back up using unbreakable which with this change would be one of the most played perks. On top of that what happens when that survivor decides to jump into a locker, would the killer then be able to grab them and place them on the ground or just be unable to open it? What about the unbreakable boon and running a killer around a main building until the other person can get back up and block again? Or just deliverance in the killers face because what can they do (again backed up by unbreakable this is just stupid)?
"As for the other issues and bugs, yes, there are far more of them. But writing up just these dozen points took us several hours. The only subjective part was deciding which problems and bugs to include out of the many that currently exist in the game."
- Fine by me, but (almost) exclusively listing bugs for one side while the other is far more bugged (gameplay wise, not cosmetics) with all the different characters sounds biased and makes it a chore to read as someone who plays and advocates for changes to both sides. The part about about the vault sound/notification bug made me chuckle a bit as I remember it being bugged for killers aswell last I played. A bit strange to precisely point out "oh, for killers it's fine, not bugged guys…" while survivors don't give a damn about the loud sound not being there as it is an advantage anyway.
"The whole point of this thread was to encourage discussion and give other players a chance to bring up additional issues, not to dismiss everything from the start by labeling it as “subjective.”"
- When you still think everything (issues, solutions) you wrote are objective then there is no point in a discussion. Plainly said: You are seeking for 'yes-men' rather than actual dicussion and feedback.
No, we're not looking for someone to say "yes, you're right" because it doesn't make any sense at all. That's why we started this discussion to gather all of us to think about real state of this game right now and take a closer look at problems which are obviously for years in a game now. We wanted to give as much as we could of feedback to you guys and bhvr mostly. I didn't see yet a properly made survey when you can type your own thought instead of choosing responses a,b or c…
"Fine by me, but…" I understand that you got confused or something by our list. We're already making another one and bringing much more so it isn't done yet. Also we're not bringing only one side. We're not survivors mains, we play both sides so that's better for us to create and gather more informations from both sides.
"The part about about the vault sound/notification bug made me chuckle a bit as I remember it being bugged for killers aswell last I played. A bit strange to precisely point out "oh, for killers it's fine, not bugged guys…" "
It is still bugged for survivor side so as you play as survivor you cannot hear it, but it doesn't make a difference for killer because he is hearing it. But If you're having informations about same thing for killer it good you brought it here in your comment. We said about our observations as we played survivor side.
And about first part of your comment.
30 sec of endurance is supposed to create a better chance for survivor to run away from the killer and find windows or pallets to create a loop area. It is obviously mostly played "tactic" to stay on survivors back and wait those few seconds and just hit. So it doesn't matter if you hit earlier or later, nothing changes. The real change would be not being able to pick up the survivor to hook him second time in a row. That's preventing from real tunneling. I don't understand the part with "healing under the hook" with zero pressure so if you could tell us more it would be nice.
If they give us someday antitunnel system endurance could be shorter or even it could be gone, because system would be kinda endurance itself.
About the locker situation. Yes, he'd pick survivor from the locker and placed them on the ground. Survivors couldn't stay in the locker and block the option for killer to take them out of the locker and just picking them up from there and placing them on the ground is simply the same as hitting theme after unhooking.
If you have any more questions type them in the next comment and please split you comments into a few part which is easier to repsonse and understand your side.

To me, it seems like you either don't know the difference between subjective and objective, or you think everything you believe is the objective truth. While some things mentioned are objective, such as the poor netcode, killer-sided hit detection, and issues revealing Ghost Face, others are purely subjective. Even calling tunneling and slugging an issue is already subjective. To some, they are; to others, they are not. The proposed solutions are subjective too. I can see a plethora of problems with all of them, especially with players who are quite good at the game.
Furthermore, it reads like a memorandum aimed at making the survivor role untouchable while not even addressing the most glaring and objective problems for killers: auto-aim canceling M1s; hitboxes of abilities not extending to crouched survivors; most killers being unable to look straight up or down; some killers still not having received input buffering; Nurse still having some blink bugs and a lot more bugs as seen on their betahub site.
Here are subjective issues for killers as a comparison: infinite Shift+W and pre-shift survivors, solo gen speed, voice comms, pre-dropping pallets, a gen-kick limit while there is no healing limit, and abusing second-chance perks, especially in SWFs. If I were to come forward with my proposed solutions to those "issues," you would probably call them subjective too, I assume.
As for Ghoul, I do share your thoughts. Although you probably mean skill floor instead of skill ceiling, I presume.
Optimus already responded to most of the things you said in this comment, but I also wanted to say that it's a bit weird if we compare "second chance perks" which are mostly usable once in a match to killer powers which are unlimited. Same thing with flashlights, medkits etc… The whole meaning of these perks is to give a little chance to escape the killer and prevent tunneling etc… Btw dead hard isn't so "abusive" as you said, it's just about good timing ;)

That was earlier on, they later talked on reddit and also the forums about it again. I remember Mandy specifically talking about how people should lower their expectations when it comes to the rewards.
So basically what you trying to say is that it's totally normal that every part of this game is on different level, right? For me personally a few of your last comments is ridiculous and to be honest I'm shocked that someone can think about it like that.
It is not okay to see bhvr saying that we need to lower our expectations… If you're not aware we have 2026 not 2016 so how can they say something like that and expect positive call?
Game should be growing in every aspect and with time they should try to make all levels of game equal. And you harshly holding to one point of this whole list with massive problems of this game. There is no fair play which is obviously standard in games, there is not enough focus on their own ideas, original chapters. In my opinion this game is "alive" that much just because of the licenses and if you throw it away what we have is partly done chapters (for example without properly made voice lines which should be standard in 2026. What's even funnier they care about licenses more than their own ideas, but you said it's not possible for them to give all characters same care… well they should because there is nothing holding them back to care for their own products (I'm not saying it about licenses because I understand that they have terms which they have to strictly care about) If the licenses have voice lines and they did that because of specific terms what won't they add it to their own chapters? ) and base game with a lot of bugs, not working mechanics and toxic gameplay which they even allowed but they still give us hope that maybe someday they will be brave enough to give us good idea to avoid tuneling, camping and slugging.
That's why there is something called rework and they can rework graphicks, perks, also specific characters which I believed they did before… sooo it is possible for them to do so and it's nothing unreachable for a studio like bhvr…
So no… There is no reason for them to leave it like that. There's plenty of ideas which we also gave in that list, but they just aren't focusing on important things like they should. 10 years and people should lower their expectations… just wow. They are raising dlcs prices and we should expect nothing more or even less.
So that's all I wanted to say to you because there no more reasons for staying at this point anymore. If you're okay with that what they give it's totally understanable… but I expect more from game which has already 10 years ;)

I said some of them, because there are specific ones listed on here that are very much either unhealthy, unrealistic or entirely subjective.
One glaring example of something completely unrealistic is cosmetics as P100 rewards, simply because of the very existence of licensed characters prevents bhvr from streamlining it to every character.
Even with the character portrait badges we have now as prestige rewards, some licensed characters like Freddy, Ghoul, Springtrap, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Pinead, etc, don't have custom portraits like the rest and instead just reuses images of their in-game models, because bhvr can't give them their own uniquely drawn portraits due to the license holders not allowing them to do so.
This shouldn't be the main reason to not give us anything because of license. To be honest licensed characters are treated better than their own original. And as I understand your reason for saying that about licensed characters, I don't understand the thing with original ones. It's obvious that they cannot do whatever they want with their license, but they can give more love to their own ideas. For example Nicolas Cage has a lot of different voice lines, right? What about Lee Yun Jin who was left behind with none of them even when last chapter release was perfect opportunity for them… There's plenty of things they could give us or change for pleasure of playing. So this list was supposed to show problems and new ideas.

This whole thread reads like something written by ChatGPT.
Also some of these things mentioned are either entirely subjective, or entirely unrealistic and will never happen.
Hi.
Yes I used help of chat Gemini to create this "project" as I called it before… but there is a simple reason for that, the language barrier. English isn't our first language so it's pretty obvious that we needed a little help so all of the community could understand what we were trying to say in any of those points written in thread.
Also when you say those problems which we mentioned before are subjective or unrealistic I cannot agree with you. This game has a lot of problems and we know that for so many years right now. Some of those were already taken care of but the rest is still waiting. I spent a lot of time with DBD and in my personal opinion this game need a little help to work better, but not only me because a lot of people in the community thinks the same. Not everything is unrealistic because there was a lot of solutions which didn't came to game even if it was a brilliant ideas. So we bringed everything in one place to get it clear.
Problems-Issues-Solutions…
