  • you know what? y'all rant all you want but if they apply these add on changes maybe its time they add another set of items. new chapter new killer new map new power and NEW SURV ITEM. A one time use 'scroll' that when used, will summon a dummy survivor that looks like you and runs at a different direction. A 'connecting cable' that when the exit gates are powered, can be used to connect the gate to synchronize their opening progress and more each chapter. y'all like that. Also give killers 16 perk slots so that they can use all of the perks they want

The issue of consistency (or lack thereof) stems from two possible directions. (My opinion)

Competitive or viable killers - People who want to play with a competitive mindset or push ranks are going to gravitate towards what provides the most consistent results (Nurse/Spirit for example)

Casual players or "fun" seekers- These people want to play the killer they enjoy the most, be it out of fandom or due to the fun gimmick builds they have. I would say I fall into this category. I have played every killer quite extensively and have nearly all the perks on each, as such I tend to play Myers, Doctor or Wraith for the fun moments I get with their more gimmick builds.

Any game will develop this problem to some extent as a "perfect balance" for both types of players may not exist. Call of Duty for example will see many people run the same guns due to the competitive edge they offer, and as thus game-play may become stale if you find dying to the same shotgun every match boring.

If the game doesn't offer enough incentive to branch out and try different things then people will stick to what they know/enjoy.

i totally agree with that. thank you.

No i mean if killer chase others too but trying to eliminate survivor that has less lifes that sometimes implies as tunneling i believe since there s no other well known term for that around here

ahhh then as a survivor ill just do my best to run away from you while being mindblown why do I deserve this??? hahahahaha

If the first person being chase isn't a complete potato and the other are doing the objective you can easily do 2-3gen by the first hook. And by your 6-7th hook survivors can easily do 4gens. Believe me most killer would like to have the chance of hooking 2-3 different survivor before going back to the first one they hook but the game depend on how skilled survivor are and not or the killer's skill. In fact killer's mistake make your chases last way longer.

BTW it's not hard at all to get a 2k just by camping and tunneling.

Also I have no problem being decent against a full random team of red ranks but have a hard time going against a 3-4 swf in purple rank just because they have the advantage of coms. I do believe SWF is good because many people like to play with friend but can you guys balance the game around them and give free perks/ advantage to lonely survivor to balance it out?

yeah i would suggest free survivor aura reading to that only solo queue players. but i guess a lot of killer would complain so nvm

    I enjoy playing Myers.

If Myers ever got a rework that made him the top tier killer I would still play Myers.

Is this because I'm "too bad to play killers that need actual skill"?

Nope its because I enjoy playing Myers.

Have I just blown your mind with this logic?

Now i wish the dev design something that will not let you verse against the same killer consecutively. but with the amount of players playing as killers, i guess that would never happen. thank you for your insights anyways

I tihnk sometimes by tunneling people imply taking out survivor as fast as possible.

you're only talking about the result. nvm the process of downing them. well if were neglecting the process of doing something. taking out a survivor while the 3 other just finishing a gen. whats worse, if the other 3, just like the dev said, has BT, DS. then more gens complete if you neglect all 3 of them

  • well if they allow that. killers will just let survivors escape (if they are on their last hook stage) because if they hook them dead, they will only be awarded 1k for that and maybe 5k for complete kill (idk the exact amount). but if they let them escape, they will be rewarded by 20k (maybe more?) just my thoughts

  • that is very opposite to the role of the killer. But I see you have a good heart. thank you

    I’m on my way...

hahahahha please dont massacre me at the fog.

  • yeah im rank 2 and has 2 pips but i think ranks dont matter anymore. the matchup system sucks

  • always the scenario:

KIller mains: Adrenaline OP blah blah

Surv mains: Then NOED, Mori blah blah

You know what lets exchange attributes:

Surv mains: I can now phase out and be invisible and you wont be able to touch me.

Killer mains: But there are 4 of us to continuously damage the generator you can only tap once therefore you'll never get out!

*meanwhile another surv on another game teleports to the gates.*

THE GAME IS ASYMMETRICAL PEOPLE!! IT CANNOT BE BALANCED THAT BOTH SIDES ARE HAPPY BECAUSE FOR THE KILLERS TO BE HAPPY THE SURVIVORS HAD TO LOSE, FOR THE SURVIVORS TO BE HAPPY, THE KILLERS HAD TO LOSE. (ALMOST IN ALL CASES).

IT IS NOTED IN ANOTHER DISCUSSION THAT THE DEVS WILL NOT CHANGE SOMETHING THAT IS EXCESSIVELY HAPPENING BASED ON THE STATISTICS. SO YOUR ARGUMENT NEEDS TO, AT LEAST, BECAME NOTICEABLE IN THE STATISTICS BEFORE THEY DECIDE A CHANGE. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT IN THEIR EVERY PATCH NOTES SAYING " Because survivors seems to ...." or "We found out that......" .

with that said, majority of killers might not have a problem with adrenaline and majority of survivors might not have a problem with NOED. you lost? too bad. you won? congratulations! how you determine both is up to you.

  • i agree they are strong. in my opinion, spirit is like a legion that has insta damage instead of deep wound. "Well she cant see the survivors she injured when phasing so she cant down them, just like legion" just bring stridor that'll fix it.

  • I once survived a match with huntress with iri heads without being hooked/injured. Just swerving around the place messes her predictions so hard that by literally doing crazy things in front of her makes her missxD

  • You people are right. I guess im just gonna play no matter what. Dont get me wrong, I understand your comments. Im just sad thats all.

  • Because its like NOED. These perks only becomes usefull when the exit gates are powered. Killer bring NOED? He can 1 hit all 4 and all those gens are wasted. All 4 Survivors have adrenaline? Still depends for each survivor (dying, injured, healthy or deep wound) plus speed burst. But when the two are present, Adrenaline is nothing like a sprint burst with 2 extra seconds while killer has a permanent speed upgrade and prevent ez hook saves and makes the survivors tremble in opening exit gates. Although it might sound like the killer has an edge, this will only come true if survivors cleanse dull totems instead of finishing all 5 gens. And this might sound an edge for survivors, but there is a high chance that not all survivors brings it also not all survivors are so eager to cleanse totems and not all survivors (most of the time) makes it to the last part of the game. So i guess that's why no one complains about it because survivors and killers are lazy discussing it considering all that i mentioned.
