I actually do this quite often. I've made a number of friends by giving the hatch after an epic game as well. The several hundred points for hooking at the end of the game isnt going to do much for me; survivor gets a lot of blood points for escaping through the hatch.

Monitor and abuse is mandatory when I play Myers. Ruin, BBQ and nurses is a very solid build you can use any or no add ons and be pretty consistent with.
If you have some quick stalking add ons, pair one with the dead rabbit; that with M&A makes your terror radius very small outside of chase in tier 2 and massive inside chase in tier 3. Pair this with infectious fright and save the best for last to create insane map pressure and snowball to victory. I also really like whispers with this build, or again, nurses so you can sneak right on up to people healing in tier 2

At red ranks you just have to expect you are going to have survivors with insta heals; and it's going to make things a bit harder. The fact of it is, playing at the highest ranks kinda forces you to play meta builds if you want to consistently do well, both for survivor and killer.
Killers most certainly do have ways to counter insta heals, and it's going to piss people off; just like survivor perks pissing off the killer.
If your goal is to just have fun, take save the best for last and watch how pointless those insta heals and in your face borrowed time attempt saves become. Works great with play with your food against swf, especially groups that try to antagonize you.
Plenty of other good suggestions above too

The spirit does not need any chasing perks (enduring, spirit fury, brutal strength) as she is arguably the best killer in chases with her phasing and ability to mind game survivors. You want a mix of slow down perks and tracking perks depending on your play style and add on choices. My current favorite setups are
Mother daughter ring with bloody hair broach (the green hair clip thing) with BBQ, save the best for last, sloppy butcher and nurses calling.
I've played with ruin instead of sloppy butcher and found the extra healing slow down will help immensely with re downing survivors all game, where ruin may only help early game. Also, dirty uwabaki is great instead of ring for speed, but the extra speed is well worth the trade off of no scratch marks with this rush down build
If you like playing deviously, try monitor and abuse, whispers, bbq and either ruin, surveillance or discordance. Must use with prayer beads and any of the fast move speed add ons (again mother daughter ring is my fav)
Patrol the outside of the map (out of line of sight) until whispers activates (hopefully near a gen) and you can see where this gets really ugly really fast. If they start trying to mess with you, just try to predict where they will go (they have absolutely no idea you are coming if you stick to the outside and use whispers) if they just stay on gens, just keep grabbing them off
