I'm seeing a lot of new users with one post commenting and I don't know if it is the same person or what. Anyway, Stadia is very individual dependent on the success or failure of it. Someone might have a good connection with the data tower and someone else might have a terrible connection. Cloud gaming will without a doubt be good in the future, but not now. Google sure won't be like Neil Armstrong on the Moon with it either. Microsoft is releasing XCloud soon and that will crush Stadia. Sales for Stadia have been very poor and they recently released 3 months of Pro for free as a result. People can be in denial about it, but facts are facts. It is massively failing.
Google also has a nasty habit with shutting down projects. You say Google wouldn't screw over Stadia users when they have done that to various customers in the past. Microsoft and Sony are more trustworthy with ecosystems compared to Google. Cloud gaming is cool if you care about it. I have excellent Internet and didn't like my experiance with PS Now when I tried it. I stick with Nintendo these days cause they never follow trends.
Your points don't really make sense???? One person having good internet and one person having bad internet can happen even on PC or console it just doesn't affect the game as much on Stadia. You also mentioned about internet going out in another post guess what....you won't be playing DBD on any platform if your internet is out... but guess what? I'll be able to play on my phone using my unlimited data plan eventually. Stadia isn't going anywhere because they knownits the future takendestiny 2 for example the game is getting so big in size they will be rotating out content to make room for new stuff. When cloud gaming is a standard this won't be an issue

12,000 people worldwide ? That's fairly shocking. Probably cause Google has screwed up the delivery since Day 1. I was going to give it a shot until I saw reviews. Then I saw how Google were acting as parent with content creators on YouTube and completely refused to get Stadia. It is a trust based console and Google are not a trustworthy company. They could pull the plug on it at any minute and you'd lose everything. Even games you buy there, you don't own. You basically borrow them and they are completely tied to the service 100%. I've been seeing a few Stadia commercials lately and no one is interested. It is like the modern Atari Jaguar. I've got amazing Internet and I've tried streaming games on PS Now and thought it sucked.
I really don't get all of these posts saying you're renting games... you're not you own the game just like any other downloadable game. I seriously doubt you'd lose anything and they'd be in hot water if they just up and shutdown and took everyone's money. You all do realize that cloud gaming is the future right? Games are getting bigger and consoles and even pcs won't be able to keep up. Look at all of the complaints for when a modern warfare update comes out. Your console will have room on it for one game. Internet is getting better I have 0 latency and guess what?! no more lag kills because all players connect to the same session in the Google data center.... so if you have ######### internet and you are the killer you won't be teleporting around the map and killing people from a mile away. You will simply stop moving.
