i was running around with that build, without using tvs or demanifestation all last week.
i thought it would be funny to just derp around... i think i got merciless maybe 5 out of 7 times i played it...
my first idea was to just run terror radius perks and play the same... that was kinda pointless everyone kept running away
sadako has a "false attack range" due to her curse... the hit is actually on the kanji, and her height makes her seem further away...
id honestly argue that every killer except nurse (because she's super slow), that ive played so far has equal basic hunt play.
if you're basing "viability" off killer kits... i honestly wouldnt know... i dont play killer like that very often
i heard something about BHVR changing sadako and players didnt like it, so i tried her out and just started playing basic hunter style
lightborn for antiflash, bamboozle for vault loops, agitation for quick hooks and brutal strength for fast breaks.

im glad you like my concept ☺️ i really put some thought into how to make kayako and toshio have a familiar yet different playstyle... i toyed with the idea of a "build up" mechanic similar to ghostface, the shape or oni... but even though kayako peeping around things would be super creepy, i thought it might be abit too similar to ghostface, so i left that part out (but its there now if BHVR like it)

A nice, new arena would be like, victorian london. Take some inspiration from Bloodborne, Yharnam looks great.
Maybe we can have some kind of Sherlock Holmes Ripoff for the survivor counterpart. And Mr Watson.
Another Killer that this game needs is Slenderman. Needlessto say, he is an icon of early Horror games. He could leave messages all around the Map and whoever comes close to them gets staggered for a bit. Im sure someone more competent can come up with better gameplay ideas. Im not to sure about a Survivor Counterpart though.
As Another Killer, i would like to nominate the Revenant from Elden Ring. I feel like it would fit right in.
i like your idea of a "jack the ripper" character... it would be cool if they took the "gentle monster" out of Frankensteins monster, (because hes not really a killer per-se) and made a "self-preserving organ/bodypart scavenger" mashup of springheeled jack and frankensteins monster... for weapons id suggest a cane sword, and give him a limp but strangely agile... and a big cutthroat razor for sweeny todd vibes... tophat and tailcoat is a must... (maybe made of stitched human skin...) backstory something like the more he replaced himself, the more the madness set it, until he didnt even recognise himself anymore, and the the insane persona took hold of him forever.
id also like kayako, toshio and their cat all together as "the grudge" (i made a post already)
