Swamp maps ultimately suffer from being released as a very large map and historically shrinking it down making the map feel "odd." The shrinking down made the edges of the maps obsolete unless you were looking for totems (which could still spawn edge map even with the map shrunk) so any sort of resources on the edge maps were nice.
Swamp is interesting as it has loopable structures such as docks, small shack, and pog logs, etc. Have seen some spawns where RnG allowed 2 pog logs in one area, which seems to be rare, but is a nasty setup to loop.

Haddonfield originally released very survivor sided and when there was the update to this map, it shifted strongly in favor to the killer. I understood the need for balance but completely shifting the weight so hard to the other side wasn't the way to do it.
History aside, this pallet update on this map was needed. The street became a dead zone once the 2-3 pallet loops were thrown. Adding more pallets around the "dead zone" areas outside the back of main was a warm welcome. Yes, the house loops with windows is the best way to run this map but with the updates a while back changing some windows to broken out walls to allow killers to traverse easier made them less strong for survivor.
Out of all the maps that had a pallet update, this one is most welcome from both survivor and killer side. It has the good balance of safe, safe (ish), and unsafe pallets.

Crotus Prenn has one of the strongest survivor main buildings on the map and the pallet density update was not desperately needed on this map. The layout almost reminds me of 2v8 gameplay where no matter where you turned there was a somewhat safe pallet.

Shattered square went from the most pallet barren map with a few windows to a pallet at every junk loop. Suggestion is to turn down the dial on the pallets on Borgo a tad. It needed more pallet loops but not to this extreme.
Yes, not all are safe pallets but the ability to chain another one 10 meters away is the root of the problem here.
