  • yess, ill try n do totems or chests if the killer seems new. i feel bad in general bringing keys and maps for challenges even if the killer is skilled.

  • Lee should have been a survivor in his own game

Honestly if you know what youre doing and have bbq you can get 1 million in 8 hours or so. Its really not that bad.

Whats bad is having to do that across several characters that youre either going to buy or hoard shards for on top of earning the bps for all of them just to get a decent build

And like i said you have to know what youre doing, noobies dont making it harder

8 hours? this is a casual game and some of us have lives lol

  • killers have no right to complain about survivors gen rushing when they tunnel through decisive, bt, and protection hits. Some killers even just say get better at the game, with this being said, killers should be good enough to go after good survivors or charge through strong loops. killers should get better.

  • congrats, now share

  • I've seen a plethora of hackers in just this past week alone.

Playing against killers that when they hit you, your character and other players in the match glitch in the air like 2016 dbd. And playing with survivors who will heal themselves while running, or complete multiple gens in seconds.

I have no clue what could have caused the recent spike, because I rarely see hackers in general.

  • The experienced players you've played with sound toxic, these "ideas" of fun do not fully represent survivors ideologie/s. Like someone previously stated, fun is subjective. Just because the players said they play this way or think it's fun should not in turn prompt you to rob someone of gameplay. (not to say playing toxic killer isn't needed when survivors in ur match are also toxic!) I think it's important to ask these sorts of questions when you're new so you can take/ask for playing advice in accordance to who thinks what is fun

I mean, the thing is it's very match dependent.

Sometimes as a killer you go around the map, and even if the counter says there's 4 gens left, you can see that there are 3 gens at like 75%, so you're pretty much effectively at 1 or 2 gens....you need someone out of the game.

Other times survivors are stubborn. I had a match where a survivor saw my Ruin before they got downed. When they got unhooked I went for the healthy survivor, but I turned around just to check and sure enough, this survivor just ran straight to my Ruin. I downed them and hooked them again. The exact same thing happened when this survivor got unhooked again. This survivor and another that was SWF with them DCd from the match, and then the other survivors gave me ######### in the endgame chat for tunneling... like what the hell am I supposed to do? Just let him do my Ruin to respect the sanctity of his unhook?

There are survivors that start healing in your face the second they get unhooked, meaning they don't have DS anymore...why would you not go for them?

There are survivors that are unhooked, go around a map, do a gen and then if you go for them again, because they haven't healed, they say you're tunneling them.

Also sometimes, a survivor is dead on hook, and you need them dead, even if they've been unhooked a while ago, and the other survivors come to help and call you a tunneller...like am i not supposed to kill people now? What is the benefit of hooking a person who is not dead on hook mid to late game? It's literally giving survivors free time to do gens. You are not entitled to that.

Thing is, when talking about tunneling, it's usually a very particular thing, that's match dependent, that survivors usually do not see the full context of, and that survivors will call out inconsistently regardless of the actual circumstances. So it's really impossible to have a proper discussion on the matter.

I love how you pointed out the different match scenarios and the fact that killer gameplay is based on each match. In my post I was specifically referencing killers who tunnel in the sense of downing the person directly after they're unhooked, though I wasn't clear about that.

Because it's not about the killer trying to finish the game as fast as possible, it's about them trying to finish the game at all and securely, because everyone wants to win, right? Gen speeds are not linear so the killer can't really determine how much time they have which makes it stressful.

I really think this can only be understood if you have played killer yourself, at least until rank 10 or so.

You make a great point about having experience before asking these sorts of questions! I used to be a killer main a few months back. The comment I was responding to made sure to use the wording of "finishing their objective as quickly as possible" (In reference to killers camping and tunneling), so to some they might want a fast easy match. You mention killers wanting to finish the game at all and securely, this is an interesting point because killers don't have to play boring to get kills at all. Riveting and exciting gameplay makes this game fun regardless of kills or being killed.

I dont like these tactics as a killer either, and i play mostly killer...

But lately survivors (at least in red ranks) started to play more efficiently... and i try to avoid it, but it seems the only real way to hold up against that is to actually focus only on one or two survivors and het them out of the game asap or you wont catch on the match...

Oh and of course when the 5 gens are done, there aint much more a killer got to do then to "camp" and secure their kill

Of course camping and hard tunneling while at 4 or 5 gens aint nice and should be avoidable.

I aint defending these killers, but i also see why some do it

I personally think the strategy of camping after all gens are done is an okay one! This incites excited end game plays and could potentially secure one or more kills

Why would survivors want to genrush?

To finish their objective as quickly as possible.

I guess I'm just missing the point in finishing the game fast as killer. To your point about survivors "genrushing", the killer can stop this from happening (i.e perks and chasing survivors off). However, survivors cannot stop killers from camping/ tunneling. My point here is that survivors seem like they're "genrushing" because they're finishing their objective without resist, killers can finish their objectives without camping and/or tunneling.

Because it's the most efficient way to play. Blame the game, not the player.

Ending chases & the game fast in general isn't rewarding in the bloodpoint sense, so how is it efficient?

  • In my opinion Nemesis feels balanced.

Takes three m2 attacks and has 115% speed. Dodging his tentacle feels the same as huntress, except the hitboxes are smaller. If anything I'm on the side of buffing Nemesis on the basis of giving him more zombies.

  • @bibibib8 said:

Asking this question is like asking to a survivor why he do gen bevore breaking every bone and opening every chest.

Not really, the killer has many things to do other than camping and tunneling (such as kicking gens and chasing other survivors). If you're are talking about how survivors should do side objectives first, so should killers.
