I would make 2 additional changes for bloodpoints:
1 - Currently, both killer/survivor have 4 bloodpoint categories (5 when there are events) that cap at 10k or 40k bloodpoints in total. This is increased by cue incentives/offerings, but a slight increase to 15k bloodpoints per group/60k in total would help further reduce the grind
2 - Make the bloodpoint cap 5 million, that way you can hoard bloodpoints for a bit longer before deciding on what you spend them on
Yep, I'm all for that. It just makes sense. And that raise in the BP cap would be helpful. Every time they release a new chapter you could have enough to at least P3 a character and have enough to start on the other. Another idea is they could add a refund option for items you don't use, add-ons too. Man, there are so many ways they could make this grind better.

Would it be possible to replace player auras with some variation of killer instinct? Neutral auras are fine. As far as the patch goes, I think I'm gonna put dbd down for a while. Aura perks ruin it on both sides for me. I'm not wasting time and money if I'm not having fun with the game anymore.

well,
one of the developers once said years ago: Playing with aura reading can be very interesting. Honestly? There is now far too much aura reading in the game. Regardless of whether it's perks or add-ons.
Playing with Aura Reading is uninteresting, but feels like cheating and requires no skill !
It's just far too much….. Distortion works against many perks and add-ons, that's true, but only if you play it right !
Meanwhile, there is so much aura reading that the tokens are used up very quickly and you have to go into the terror radius to recharge them, which takes time. Time that you can't spend on a generator, time that benefits the killers.
But none of the developers seem to be interested anymore. I'm a solo player and I don't want to be constantly hunted. Whether the developers like it or not, but that should also be taken into account. If the change goes live like this, there will be a shitstorm. I'm seriously considering giving up the solo Survivor game and just playing SWF.
Hiding no longer helps. Hide and Seek is over...what has become of DBD.... become? Now you can run the other tools like Sole Survivor by Laurie or Urban Evasion by Nea into the ground, because they are becoming increasingly useless. Time to get a grip on DS, DH and co.
Exactly! I think a good solution would be to remove player auras and utilize variations of killer instinct for both sides. I would love to drop distortion, but not when lethal pursuer, BBQ, and nowhere to hide exists. I wouldn't mind auras during events, like peekaboo in the masquerade. Oh well, shadow step it is for now.

Distortion Is getting nerfed so killer aura reading needs to be nerfed as well. The amount of aura reading perks killers have is actually ridiculous.
I can only hope they nerf player auras across the board. I guess it's shadow step from here on out.

Using 'Friends 'til the End' constantly, it gives me a single aura reading for 10 sec (the most long aura reading from the game as far as I know). I can guess why you don't like this mechanic.
But using it, it gives you a main target as killer & an objective for a short period. Very useful bc in this way, I'm constantly changing my target & this one is mainly warned I will come for him/her.
In this way, I don't have to tunnel, no need to camp & if I don't see my obsession, I will found someone else. For me, this perk is more useful than Chili & BBQ or Lethal Pursuer.
But if can't bear this, use 'Distortion' or jump into a locker every time the dark balloon from the hooked appears in your FOV (or just before is certainly better).
Tell you that: Lethal Pursuer works just one single time in the game & Chili & BBQ reveals you only if you are far away from the hook.Information perks are fine. The type of information is what I have issue with. Again, I think killer instinct is a solid solution for both sides as it's already a feature. Buffs and nerfs would be duration, number of pulses, frequency, and adjusting accordingly. As killer, I actively avoid aura perks like you listed. No need for a main target because its usually the first person you find. The objective is to poke and hook survivors for touching the killer's gens. Scratch marks, crows, patrolling, and listening is enough to find survivors. Perks like BBQ, nowhere to hide, and especially lethal pursuer is why disto is on my survivor builds. The upcoming changes defeat the purpose of disto for me and even the token version only goes so far. As far as I know the only other solid option is shadow step, but that has limitations as well. Following the pink survivor shapes feels lazy in game and in design. Then there's add ons... anyways, I'll for sure try hopping in a locker in my future games. Thanks for the info.
