  • I like the penalty. I never dc because it does screw everyone over. I had 3 survivors dc when they seen the doctor. Then the doctor found the hatch first, closed it, then shocked me until the entity killed me. This match hurt my rank. So yes the dc penalty is very necessary, much needed and rightfully added to the game.

  • The doctor and the wraith are the worst. Constant shock therapy you never fully loose madness. His item add on's make facing him very difficult. Skill checks all over the screen and going counter clockwise. I had 3 survivors dc and left me with 5 gens. Doc closed the hatch then shocked me until the entity killed me. I couldn't do anything. I really don't like the doctor.

The wraith and his invisible crap is really dumb. I mean it's ridiculous to run around being invisible just so you can get close enough to get a hit. Yes you can see him when hes moving but more often then not he practically runs into me when invisible and the second I make a run for hes already on me. If get some distance he easy enough to loop but if have lower rank survivors with me the game will end in a hatch play.

Michael is hard too but he is a challenge and that makes it fun. I hear that Michael jingle and my heart starts pounding because he will just be there all of a sudden. I lose a lot to Michael but it doesn't bother me.

The rest of the killers are fine. Haven't played against deathslinger yet.

  • I will only save a survivor who is in a position to be saved. If there is noed and I'm on my last hang, forget it. If you are on the other side of the map, forget it. If we have a face camping killer, forget it.

I will take the risk for a good teammate. A survivor who plays to help and escape is worth the save. If I went down and got hung twice but my teammate took out 3 gens and saved me twice and I ain't done anything, I think the stronger better survivor should get their points. So if end games comes and that survivor is hung ill make the effort.

So to all you selfish survivors, do your thing but don't expect a save when it really matters.

  • I mix it up. The only perk i use consistently is calm spirit. (I really don't like the doctor)

Other then that I switch them out. When i first started i used self care and urban evasion but i got better so those aren't needed anymore. I don't use the aura reading perks much any more either.

This is not happening, lithe, cs, and streetwise is one build i like. Or take out this is not happening and use resilience or the chest finding perk. Can't recall its name. Lol

I have gotten much better since i started switching them up.

  • As a survivor having to deal with ruin, i think the the old ruin was harder to get past. I mean you had to get great skill checks to have progression. Good skill checks stopped progression. As soon as i seen that red skill check I was off the gen looking for the hex. That in-turn made the game slow down unless someone found it fast. Searching for the hex allowed the killers to search for us and most of the time i felt like it help the killers a lot. I absolutely did not like the old ruin as a survivor. But yeah once that hex was gone we could bust out gens fast.

I don't even worry about ruin now. Its pretty easy to jump on a gen and stick it out if someone is a chase. It seems like for ruin to work in the killers favor they would need a smaller map, camping gens, and not getting into long chases. The nerf to ruin made it easier for survivors to complete gens without question.

  • I thought the doc was op as well, at first, but if you run calm spirit you start see how you can evade in other ways. It does take time and it is hard but it can be done. Its good blood points when you escape too.

The skill checks all over the screen are tough. I stare at the middle and use my peripheral to find it and react naturally to the sound.

I will say that after the recent changes I do play against him more then any other killer. But I think my rank has a lot to do with it. I can't seem to get past 11 lol.
