• I am a survivor main and I don’t like the torchbearer role. There’s already 8 survivors meaning they need a total of 24 hooks to kill every single survivor. It made getting flashlight saves more fun when a flashlight was found in a chest rather than being able to bring them. Also, allowing for flashlights and flashbangs into 2v8, toxicity is being encouraged. Being tbagged for a survivor getting an unskillful blind while breaking a pallet is aggravating. By adding the flashlights toxicity has been embraced. As well as, now survivors run around “attempting” to get saves or purposely take chase just to be a douche and not do gens. Playing with or alongside a torchbearer is not fun and neither is playing against it. Especially with there being little to no way for killers to counter flashlights, flash bang, AND blast mine.
