• Can someone help me properly set up an Xbox controller for PC use?

There’s a bug that my girlfriend gets on her PC where her Xbox controller works in all the DbD menus but then the game doesn’t recognize inputs when in game. We had this issue at first with it connected by Bluetooth and we were able to work around it by connecting a cable, but now we’re having that issue again even with a cable connected. We’ve checked drivers, inputs, bindings, controller update
