• HWID ban with monitor?

  Hi, A friend of mine gave me his old but still good monitor to me because he is upgrading, unfortunately he is HWID (hardware ID) banned on his computer. I really like DBD and been playing it for years and don't want to get an hwid ban because I play on his monitor. Am I safe or should I just use my own monitor? Really want to connect it rn.
