• Has matchmaking been wonky for anyone else lately?

  I keep getting put up against newbies who can barely play the game despite being rank 1 (as killer), and rank 3 (survivor). I'm talking rank 16~20 players. Once in a while I'll be matched properly but about 70% of the time it's new players. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is my luck just that bad?

• Been playing for over 500+ hours, feels like I'm missing something

  I know rankings don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, and that I should focus on improving more than anything, but I just can't seem to break free of purple ranks on killer. I've watched guides, gameplay of good killers, etc. And for the most part they've helped me a ton just getting to rank 5~7 relatively easily.
