Why do you care so much about Anti-Aliasing? It doesn't affect your gameplay, and if your computer isn't strong enough to handle it, then your computer isn't suited enough for modern gaming anyways. DBD is not the most intensive game you can run on PC, not by a long shot. It's not even as intensive as PAYDAY 2.
Why do you care so much people complaining about the fact that you can count the number of graphic options in dbd with one hand?
It literally doesn't affect you in any way if the option to enable/disable AA is added to the game. Keep it on for I care, but god forbid people ask for basic quality of life options. The same goes for color blind settings.

true, I have no problems getting 4k with multiple ds users.

placebo effect

I always give Feng Min hatch, provided they don't wiggle

I play on PC and I don't know ######### that is.
I think the only option I messed with was Vsync=False.

Again, no, it's not the hitbox. We have a great visual example in the stream we did about this: https://youtu.be/A8SwqJJKlaY?t=1135
You can see how it looks wildly different from the killer and survivor's perspective. For the killer, the survivor is in the window and it's totally a fair hit. For the survivor, they appear to be through the window and safe. This is not because the hitbox is massive (the hitbox used to detect hits is actually smaller than the survivor if anything: https://youtu.be/A8SwqJJKlaY?t=454), and again, it's not because the hitbox is flailing around uncontrollably like a deflating balloon. This is because of latency.
Latency is also not necessarily a server issue. Latency is an issue with the internet in general. Because you're not physically sitting in the same room as someone, it takes time for you to send information to each other. Data isn't magic, it's can't instantly teleport from your system to someone else's. It needs to physically move through cables of varying speeds and zigzag across the country (or even continent, where applicable) to get to them. This means that no matter what, there's going to be delay.
A server will add a tiny bit of delay to take in, handle, and send back out information (a few milliseconds), but the vast majority of it is due to distance. You can have a magical perfect server that instantly receives and immediately sends back out information and you would still have latency.
so what exactly are the devs planing on address this?
Patrick Harris claims "There are lots of techniques we can use to work on this." What techniques are we talking about here?
Hitbox should always favor the side with the lower latency. It should not favor only one side while having no hitreg compensation whatsoever

I've been trying out reshade filters and they seem to work fairly well
-
nothing, I click continue and move onto the next match, you are not obligated to play that postgame chat game with those people
-
daily reminder that, once again, dead by daylight lacks basic graphics options such as AA and Vsync
-
just give us the ability to play singleplayer custom games cuz a lot of the times I just wanna try out the maps and tiles

Ever since they forced Anti Aliasing on people who play the game on low I'm forced to suicide on "The Game" since I play with basically 30 fps on that map, same with the Spirit Halloween costume, if someone uses it I have massive fps drops everytime she's near or phases somewhere so I just suicide.
Please give us graphics options!
that costume has memory leaks so no coincidence there
-
would like them to buff bing bong boy wraith, like just increase a little bit of movement speed while cloaked so you can get from gen A to gen B a bit faster
-
daily reminder that DBD has zero basic graphics options

They will only hear us if everyone on the forums speak, they already know that no one likes AA but they're ignoring it, that's why people need to stop playing the game and speak up
Eh, not really realistic to expect people to straight up boycott the game, but I do agree that we need to speak up, and also stop spending money buying outfits and rifts as much as we can

DEVS ignore us, they don't care about our opinion, they don't even play their own game to see things we see. Unfortunately this is the reality
they may not listen to us the players, but they WILL listen to their investors when their revenue reports don't look so hot
-
Nice.
Now watch the devs remove DBD as a supported game from Nvidia Geforce like Escape From Tarkov because THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE.
-
How are there STILL no in-game graphic options for BASIC SETTINGS like anti-aliasing and Vsync, but plenty of COSMETICS keep coming out? It's embarrassing honestly.
Stop buying cosmetics until the devs decide to add BASIC GRAPHICAL SETTINGS to the game.
-
still ignores pallets - check
still ignores windows - check
still ignores walls - check
yep, pretty much still top tier
-
agreed
and yes prayer beads is broken because there's no counterplay compared to base power spirit
-
dead hard is broken on dedicated servers
yet some eople are still crying about balanced landing when the reality is that some maps are just badly designed around this perk
-
nurse is still top tier, people are just mad that BHVR is taking away their power trips
nurse is still the only killer that ignores all game mechanics survivors have that EVERY OTHER KILLER has to follow

This isn't proper counterplay. They can LITERALLY RUN IN A STRAIGHT LINE!
depends on the map which I say is 50/50
-
good nurse mains will adapt and define new meta
people that are complaining never fully mastered her

How do you implement MMR when there isn't a clear cut to one side "winning" or "losing"?
The emblem system is there so players get scored in each of the different categories, whether the current scoring is good is another story.
Even in your suggested MMR system, it still boils down to how do you quantify how much a player has done? If they can get that part right, then it doesn't matter if it's emblem or MMR.
MMR basically means a player's effectiveness, and is quantified as such. I touched on this topic in my OP when I said two survivors escaping could earn different amounts of MMR. someone that does a lot of gens, gets a lot of unhooks/heals, be chased for a long time, won a lot of chases earns more MMR than someone who did little gens, crouched for a long time, and barely did anything in terms of gens or altruism actions
the point is that the categories for the current emblem system is atrocious, hence the MMR idea
-
It's a game not a job
you don't get to dictate or have control over how other people act
-
I get fast queue times as red rank survivor (never the case before) so that's a big plus to me. playing on Asia btw
