    I was having the same issue on Christmas day. Playing on PS5, kept getting disconnected from host and then getting an initialization error on restart. Wait a few minutes then it would finally load and do the same thing next match. Internet was fine. Had someone play on their PS4 account on same network with no issues. Played a few games last night and it was fine so far, so idk. On east coast btw.

    Same on PS5. Got stuck froze on new map. Thankfully the survivors were nice enough to just rush the gens and get out instead of me having to DC.

    I noticed it mainly happened with the latest patch update. I have no issue disconnecting from other game servers. I’m not sure if this is a console issue

    This is the first time I've seen this problem in 3 yrs of DBD on ps. Nvr even seen the initialization error till now. Last year I've been on the PS5. Even had someone play a few games with their account on my network last night with no problems. I also have no problems with other games. Seems like it has something to do with my DBD account only

  • Having same issue on PS5. Tonight is first time I've ever had this problem. My internet is also working fine.
