Tunneling? You mean hook rushing? I know how frustrating it can be to get tunneled and say you can learn to get better but the truth is people want to win. If you're paired up against players way above your level constantly getting someone out of the game as quickly as possible puts you on a more even playing field as soon as possible. I dont tunnel most of the time but I do try to slug the unhooked survivor if it's possible asap to create pressure. If I'm seeing gens fly or if I got disrespected with a bt body block for the healthy survivor you're going back on the hook. If not lay there and wait for a teammate to come get you while I chase the person that unhooked you.

I have a few changes o have thought about making to him not all to be done to him just a few suggestions but one thing no matter what is his bottle reload NEEDS to take less time. And his bottles need to do something more like slowing all player actions when inside his cloud.
1) he could be able to pour his tonic on gems, pallets or windows to thap them, to make them sticky or slow gen progression
2) an intoxication meter would build up similar to the doctors madness or plagues sickness. Causing survivors to need to sober up or be slowed down while healing, unhooking ,working on generators ect.. I wouldn't want it to go as far as putting them in the broken state but hindered, or oblivious for a short amount of time.

I know how it sucks to feel "tunneled" but it's part of the game either your teammates should have unhooked you at a safer time or you should have gotten away faster than them. If I'm a killer I already have to put pressure on 4 people reducing those numbers as quickly as I can is how I win while a bad survivor can get out because they have good teammates. I'm more likely to tunnel if I see teams trying to body block I'm not going to let a group of survivors disrespect me by taking advantage of game mechanics that slow me down because I get locked in position or slowed down due to almost all of my animations.

I'm all for the exit gates to be spawned farther apart. But that's really the only change I can see making that would be balanced. I mean think about it like this both the killer and survivor have a chance to stumble upon the hatch during the game. So you as a killer should be on the lookout for it, it's an instant escape for the last survivor, if either side never saw it then it's their own fault.
As a survivor it shouldn't be a surprise the killer will go for hatch so go for the furthest exit gate and wait for it to close. In all my time if playing killer I've never heard a gate opening so far away that I can get to the survivor and stop them from opening it in time.
