So they went with totally demographic progress and now that you did not get your choice you want a revote.
The majority of people didn't get what they wanted actually. Over 50% of the voters wanted something other than the spider leg silhouette but the vote split between the other two options, now that design is realized and even less people like it. I'm just pointing out how the system they went with has led to this scenario where we're choosing between two ugly designs that a large amount of players don't like.

How does Vecna power creep Slinger? Slinger's power is nothing like his, it's more like Unknown and Krasue 3.0, where you need to apply a status effect first to damage survivors. except just like how Krasue was an improvement on Unknown, this killer is an improvement on both of them, AND you need to play 50/50s with dodging like Nurse.
Also for the record, Deathslinger isn't C tier, especially with the ADS animation bug still in effect. He's more like a low-mid B tier. In the right hands he's a monster
The First power creeps every ranged killer, but especially the really bad ones like Slinger. Slinger has to aim a very precise projectile with a very unforgiving reload and THEN needs to reel to actually deal the 2nd health state. The First is able to punish survivors at the same range FAR EASIER with a more forgiving attack that allows for lots of spam and lets him hit through walls. They both fill a "midrange ranged killer" slot but one is FAR better than the other.
And I absolutely despise this framing I've seen from people that terrible killers don't need buffs because "in the right hands" they're very strong. If the Slinger mains who made him a "monster" mained an actual A or S tier killer, they'd be on 200-game-winstreaks. Their dedication and skill is an outlier and shouldn't be the focus of overall game balance. I do not think we should be condemning entire characters to forever suck because "technically John Deathslinger, the greatest Slinger main of all time, would be too strong if the killer wasn't permanently confined to a wheelchair with a 100 second cooldown."
If you truly believe characters should be balanced around the top comp players, then go advocate for massive nerfs to the First, because he is far more powerful than 115 Slinger would ever be.

This is just ridiculous. Rather than reverting the pallet density buff, they decided to create a worst-of-both-worlds compromise where there's a bunch of pallets and they're all unsafe for survivors. No fun looping gameplay, every tile is a 50/50, prerunning is the only strategy survivors can employ (which is the least fun to play against as killer).
Density needed a revert, not this. Bring us back to 6 months ago.

STOP THESE HALF MEASURES
Revert pallet density in its entirety. This update has now made every loop terribly unsafe for survivors and further incentivized chaining. We don't want 50 pallets per map, we don't want 40 unsafe pallets per map, we want how the pallets were LITERALLY FIVE MONTHS AGO. They were in a decent state before these repeated bad changes, revert back to that.

This is obscene. It's the exact opposite of what everyone in the killer community asked for. We wanted density FULLY REVERTED (except some on HF, which I think was actually overtuned with density but it only needed like 1-2 loops removed/weakened around main street to make it more fair). Instead we got a slight reduction in pallets but they're ALL unsafe now, meaning "hold W" is stronger than ever. This is NOT what people wanted. It makes the game worse for survivors, it makes killer gameplay less engaging, and it furthers the prerun meta. I cannot say this in more explicit terms: We need FEWER PALLETS, MEDIUM STRENGTH - like how it was before density. No more of this "200,000 unsafe pallets, millions must predrop" nonsense. I want to LOOP I like DOCTOR let me use my power and not spend 90% of the chase catching up.
