i love my metal post #metalpost

i probably wont play this 2v8 much due to the inclusions in this one for killer. i dont stand in the crowd saying legions nerf will kill him in 2v8 (they didnt specify how far back the nerf is going or give an exact number of hits afaik for the feral frenzy, so they might adjust it to be still above 5 hits but below 9 for insta) but with the only confirmed changes we know killer is getting is that and them nerfing the shadow class, it just seems like a lame roll out to play as a killer who played the last few.
and the reward is… getting to play as survivor while i wait for killer? oh gee… thanks… i love 2v8 survivor….. which is why im not playing it…..

got it twice last night through luck on survivor
its just… so empty… do you like trees? they have trees.

sometimes you become so okay in your preferred puddle of jank and bugs that you kind of just grow to accept that this game is gonna be like this. like, from an outside perspective, most my friends think dbd is a horribly optimized game with a million bugs that shouldve been fixed 5 years ago. at to their credit, theyre probably right, but i know this game and i enjoy playing it to its full potential when it works, and i like being part of the voice thats tries to pull feedback into a somewhat compromised balance for gameplay. BHVR misses a lot, but being pessimistic and quitting doesnt fix that for me: i just lose the game i liked playing. the joy still outweighs the annoyance and adapting to changes is something ive come to accept.
i also like to think of it as. if you dropped me in say a league lobby, or overwatch, or some other comp online game and i encountered something that didnt work or was exploitable, i would probably also end up disproportionately angry about it. but i dont know those games, so maybe its just how things are in them in their state. meanwhile im used to dbd, so i hear things like "chases arent proccing on the new update" and shrug and go yup same ######### as always. i think its a comfort thing.

Let's be super honest here. Some of the people claimed it was impossible to fix ragequitting, because they are a ragequitter, and don't want BHVR to patch the loopholes they use to ragequit.
That is the actual problem here. There are people that would lie and exaggerate about the Go Next system, because they want it gone, because they want to ragequit without getting the DC penalties.
That is why every claim against the Go Next system needs to be reviewed. Yes, there might be real problems with the Go Next system, but we need a more accurate estimation of this. For example, is it failing at a rate of 1 in 100,000 or at a rate of 1 in 1,000?
The most helpful thing, would be for people to record their matches, and submit the videos to BHVR if they feel the Go Next system is working incorrectly. If the Go Next system is failing often, then it should be really easy to get recorded video evidence of it failing, right?
the sub had a massive overtaking of faked afk crow videos and suspicious activity posts due to this exact thing. people will just lie to try and make it seems worse than it is

Here is further video of how the chests affect Springtrap's door spawns specifically, preventing him from running two killer perks (Human Greed and Hoarder) if he does not want to make it difficult to play the intended way. There are 12 additional chests on this map, as all 4 bots are running the dual chest offering, and Springtrap is running Human Greed and Hoarder, which each spawn 2 additional chests. Since there is no event offering like the Mistletoes or the yearly anniversary offerings, this is technically missing one more additional chest (maxing out at 13 additional chests, or 16 total chests on the map).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ7tHGY_uSQ
As usual, forgive my audio. In the video, doors 6 and 7 are incredibly far away from the intended generator, while 2 is incredibly close. Door 3 and Door 5 are also pushed away from their respective gen, but are less distant. There is also no door next to the second exit gate due to the door spawns, which hampers his endgame playstyle, which is clearly one of his intended forms of play due to Haywire and the Loot Bag.
Not shown in the video is how the placement of the doors will make it difficult for survivors to efficiently use them for travel across the map, and how it may make it difficult for the survivors to reveal Springtrap while using the cameras. However, one can use their imagination - with doors 3 and 7 facing away from the gen closest to the exit gate, it would be incredibly difficult for Springtrap to be revealed on the way to that gen specifically, and also allows him to take a certain path towards that exit gate to avoid the cameras. Door 4 (the door I enter in the video) is facing away from the gen and the hook it is near, making watching either difficult for survivors.
On top of this, there is also a major note to make here: if any of these killers (or a original killer with a similar issue) are brought to the 2v8 modifier, this interaction is going to need to be fixed, as there is 20 chests on a 2v8 map, and there is no way to remove any of the chests from that modifier, unlike the base mode.
My proposed solution is that killer item spawn rules change - when the map is chosen and props spawn in, gens, hooks, and killer props are placed first, then the base chests, and then any props brought in as a result of a offering, a perk, or a quest (as the Tome 5 Plants take the place of a generator). This would allow Springtrap, Xenomorph, and Sadako to bring chest perks without hampering their oppressive playstyle, but also allows BHVR to add other perks that increase chest spawns (or add the effect to other perks, like Plunderer's Instinct, Moment of Glory, Specialist, and more) without having survivors grief the killer by accident. It would also fix the issue for 2v8's modifier if any of these killers are later added to it.
Bless you for this

In my experience, it starts being fun when you accept things the way that they are. The game is full of tunnelers, campers, sluggers, and killers that speedrun the match. Then of course other survivors that will quickly abandon you whenever you need help. That won't be every match, but sometimes it'll be every other match. When you stop expecting things to go your way and you start learning the patterns, you can start to survive for longer and enjoy the game despite what's happening.
When it gets to be too much, take a break. I can't emphasize that enough. Since you play both killer and survivor, maybe playing killer for a bit can help too.
Also, anyone that says you deserve to get pulled out of the game just for playing is being salty.
Like this is all genuinely true, I guess my big thing is I don't sink too long into my dbd sessions in the first place. I get off work late and play for two hours at the longest.
Say I play three survivor games, I have to queue for at least five minutes each cause matchmaking sucks. I get in the first game and start playing, killer hooks someone and kindred shows us all he face camps. Great, we all do gens since none of us have BT. Repeat until all four are dead because by the time theres two the other person is hiding while I play cat and mouse with the killer.
Next game say we get a decent killer that doesn't camp. Someone gets hooked and I go to save them cause I have Deliverance and wanna use it. I unhook and killer comes back, get caught in a dead zone, and hooked. My team mates leave me until second stage and unhook me after; killer hooks me again.
Third game say the killer is decent again. I decide to do gens in my lane and save if I am close, maybe they hook one or two people. Finally they find me and I actually run okay, maybe get a pallet stun. Eventually I get downed cause I am inexperienced and suddenly I am getting BM'd on the hook cause I tried to not die?
In all of these situations I have no clue what I have done wrong besides lose a single chase in a match, and I face the fullest consequences. Thirty minutes AT LEAST of my life is gone when I could have played my favorite killers for two games and probably would have felt better even if I choked. Low tier survivor is just so disgustingly trash ridden.

Wow you are annoying. The board gives you specific instructions on how to post here and you have broken all the guidelines. Your vague bullet point list provides no context for the bugs listed thus making them incredibly hard to replicate or look into. No images or video, I don't even know which platform you play. Dozens of correctly formatted posts come in here every day and, believe it or not, BHVR is always working on something.
Bumping this thread will not get you the attention you want or these bugs fixed faster.
