I 100% agree, the game is unplayable right now.

Killed 360's, this update will kill the game for a lot of survivors, but that is what these devs seem to be going for. Kill off the skilled players and keep the game alive for the killers who want kills handed to them. Sickening.

I think you're confusing the Tom and the Levels together
Which is broken up into 4 levels all of them still consist of Tome 1
Basically Tome 1 level 2 is going to happen in 3 days we're not getting a new tome yet
Essentially the putrid serum will stay in the Rift until it ends.
Once this Rift ends and we get a new one that will be tome 2
So it will be Tomb 1 level 2? Not Tomb 2? So I can still get Serum for another 60 days or whatever?

Red Dead 2 comes out on pc on Nov 5th. TBH, Dont think I will be playing dbd much the rest of the year..... what a disappointment this game has become.

Its not a big development team and thankfully they don't overwork people for crunch times in situations like this so it's only natural this kinda thing happens occasionally. Just be patient, its only a game.
Their development is bigger now than years past. They even introduced a team last year that was brought in specifically to focus on events. And yet this team they brought in is not living up to the expectations of the player base. Now this IS a game with micro transactions, like it or not. The in game shop is loaded with cosmetics and they seem to add multiple sets per month which don't skip a beat. They skipped the summer event entirely and now this one is delayed. These devs have forgotten the FUN factor and events are the only thing that this player base has to look forward to. Playing the same game mode for 4 years, events have been the only highlight. They dropped the ball and they can't even be up front about what the delay is. quite pathetic.
