  • I don't know what delusion ever came over me to think that I would find some sort of decency in these forums. 😂

You are not being held hostage being left on the ground to bleed out. You will die allowing you to move on to the next game.

And I never said it was okay.

but why should I or anyone have to wait 4 minutes of watching my character whine and bleed on the ground?

why is that ok?? yes it will end eventually... but that's just really toxic behavior.

go off though defending it. this is why so many people are quitting.. everybody is supposed to be playing the game to enjoy themselves.. but instead, we have to be jerks to each other and make things -unnecessarily miserable-

I have played this game for years.. and it didnt used to be like this. just so remorselessly toxic and people dont even think there is anything wrong with it.

That's not what holding the game hostage means. You being slugged on the ground will still cause the game to end as you will eventually die.

    words- read again.

it is totally holding someone hostage if you slug them and make them wait out the entire bleed time.

cool though that you think thats ok. as if I should be surprised.

The mori update will make it so the killer auto moris the last survivor when they are in dying state.

But it's really not holding the game hostage since you will eventually die.

it is totally holding someone hostage if you slug them and make them wait out the entire bleed time. absolutely no question about it.

I have had killers do this to entire teams, all 4 people. everybody just lies there until they finally die. it's terrible, it feels terrible, and it's 100% mega toxic behavior.

  • we dont need to give people another reason to play the camping killer.

    pass.

easily one of the most unfun characters in the game.. and it isnt even entirely "his" fault... its the way people play him.

9/10 bubba's will down and camp until dead.

bubba can rot on the bottom of the pile forever as far as I care.

  • Mend simulator is so boring. Its really really not fun. Its just a never ending chain of mending. Legion just spends the whole match zooming around the map like a cat at 3am, wounding over and over. Then on top of it using the full arsenal of slowdown perks.. making matches drag out forever. Its awful, its super not fun. Spirit pretty consistently still kicks everybody's a** and I would rather face her 100 times than any more of these legions.

  • Mend simulator is really really boring. It's not fun at all. And of course, they take sloppy and thanatophobia to stack on top of it.

Spend whole game making sure you dont bleed out. Its really really unfun. Prob should have reworked legion instead of whatever this mess is.

I have played long enough I don't care about BP or emblems really. Only escaping. Fun chases mean nothing because most of the killers are a misery to play against these days, predropping and holding W is the meta. Most other games you actually get teammates around your skill level but DBD is an anomaly.

I played a demo game earlier today with a 5k hour survivor, and a baby claud on the same team. They were solo Q. The baby claud died super early and the 5k hour survivor died on first hook because of it. Why does that happen? It's trash matchmaking which only benefits the killer and my patience for it is completely gone on the very rare occasion I play survivor.

I have nothing to add to that.

    300% agree with this.

  • @drsoontm said:

The complain is not directed at the survivors. It's about how easy it is to do it and how stupidly impossible it is for a killer to handle gens done in parallel optimally.

Some will compare this to tunneling, but at least in tunneling some interactions are happening.

This much I can understand. Survivors played at the highest echelon in an organized team are definitely going to be awful to deal with. I respect the teamwork and cooperation it takes to achieve that though.

But the issue then lies with - with balancing a game for the highest skill level, the players below that suffer tremendously for it. And these high tier players are -always- the minority. There are far more casual, or lower tier etc players in this game than these mega players.

So to fix that imbalance between the 2 types of players--- why not a "ranked mode" -- somewhere these people can go and be sweaty and not ruin the game for the other people just trying to have fun. I dont know... but I for sure don't agree that games should always be balanced based on the best possible outcome.

killers gotta have their fun too 🤣🤣🤣.

except its near impossible to hold a killer hostage. end game saw to that.

if your fun is wasting 4 people's time, thats not fun.. its toxic.
