  • For me, I feel like that combination of perks doesn't really synergise very well. I would change those perks and then see how you feel about Legion.

  • I'm a PC player and I just turned off crossplay this morning. The reason is that since I started playing again after crossplay was introducted I noticed a LOT of instant disconnects as soon as a team mate was hooked for the first time. I then wondered if it was specific types of players and started paying more attention. This is when I noticed that all the examples I was seeing were crossplay team mates. I found this odd and forgot about it but then this morning I had 4 or 5 games in a row with different crossplay teammates who disconnected on first hook and I just totally lost patience and turned it off.

  • I'm a survivor main and it really upsets me when I see other survivors being toxic as ######### to killers in the chat after a match for things like so-called "tunnelling". I always call them out on their bullshit and I hope this helps the killers in these situations to feel less upset by it. If a killer tunnels a survivor, it's because someone unhooked the survivor at the wrong time/in the wrong way. Or the person who was unhooked just started running and leaving scratch marks everywhere/fast vaulting like a loony and then blames the killer for "tunnelling" when they find them and down them again. So frustrating to see killers essentially get screamed at for that. I'm not a fan of games where the killer camps, though, I must say. Only because it feels like a really boring and cynical way to play the game and it diminishes the fun for me. Killers can and do win without playing passively all the time, so it just feels really unnecessary to me. Having said all of that, I don't think it's my place to tell killers they shouldn't camp. They can make the game boring if they want.

  • There is one thing that differs between peoples' experiences in console vs PC DbD and that's the chat feature. I think that PC players get more of a chance to see their team mates as actual people with feelings because they can talk to each other and that fosters better manners in the game.

  • I'm just relieved that I can turn off crossplay, anyway. That way no-one's gaming experience is hurt apart from my own having to wait longer for matches. I'd still rather do that than waste my time playing 5 matches in a row where a team mate d/cs early in the match because they got hooked, though.

  • @KingOfBadRNG I don't think PC players are superior. I have consoles and a PC and I like playing on both. I'm saying that in Dead by Daylight, which I happen to play on the PC, I have noticed that since crossplay has been introduced disconnects on FIRST HOOK have increased and on ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ONE of those instances (I am not exaggerating) the little crossplay symbol has been next to the d/cer's name. I have no reason to make this up.

@PigMainClaudette yeah I wouldn't mind if it seemed to be random, but I can't see it being a coincidence that it's when the player is first hooked by the killer, especially when it's early on in the game.

  • Yes, I have been monitoring my games and the vast, vast majority of the time that someone rage quits on first hook or another ridiculously obvious rage quit moment it's a console player. I've turned off crossplay for this reason. Why, why, why do people do it? I don't get it, honestly. It ruins the game for the rest of the team. So inconsiderate.
