That was the shorthand, but the idea was along the lines of they are too stale or centuries old. Even then Zombies aren't the Killer, they are part of the power (for Nemmy). If they added a Vampire, it would need to be a fresh spin on the concept of what it is to be a Vampire. It was basically a push for creativity within the team. Now to be fair, I think that was also the directive 6-7 years ago, and could probably include 'classic' horror now.
true enough, the zombies don't 'kill' but they do injure the survivors, so the zombies are basically an extension of the killer... at least that's what I gathered from it? and tbh, I'm more looking for a werewolf themed dlc, and I even gave a story/history for one if they were up to a suggestion for one, even tossed out some potential names.
but if they could release a dlc for 'Classic screams' (working title) with three or four classic inspired killers, like the werewolf mentioned above who originally was just a logger, who was attacked by a wolf and essentially went insane with a mental disorder also called Lycanthropy, only to have the entity bring him back with a sort of Karmic reincarnation thing... but that's just an idea I threw together. ^^;
