  • I used it too but to be honest I don't think it was intended that way, because it is instant death once you step into it, which differentiates it from all other traps we have in our disposal.

I think you are overthinking it. When you come across an outpost that is really difficult but fair, you know it. It is absolutely possible to make a "brutal" outpost that isn't a killbox. Likewise, you can make some really ingenious outposts that aren't garbage mazes. I'll give you an example. I saw a youtube video from a streamer called Dakkabooms raiding an outpost from Pigeon_Chest. The builder made a "golf" outpost with an intended spot for the raider to use the cannon to launch their bombs. There were clearly marked holes. If the raider successfully landed their cannon shots into the holes they would go down and blow up areas of the inside of the outpost making it easier to go through. If that isn't ingenious then I don't know what is.

    What this guy said.

  • Yeah I realy don't get the nerf hammer. I never had problems with these buggers and they where a nice addition. They couldn't even hit you if you did not move wich was kind of funny.

Now they have no purpose anymore. I would love to hear some insight from the devs what a Ravager is supposed to do what an Enforcer can not already do but better?

    I really don't get it.

I agree whole-heartedly. I just had a thought on this. What if raiders could spend cells to gift synthite to builders? I'm sure many players are in the same position I am, in that I'm capped out on cells with nothing to spend them on. I would gladly spend 200 cells on a well designed base if the builder would get 100 synthite. This would give builders more incentive to make outposts raiders actually enjoy and give builders less of a reason to worry about kills. Everyone wins.

This sounds like a really nice idea :)
