One of the better realms to buff with pallets and standardizing the jungle gyms. Could use some tweaks still regarding some maps having too many pallets concentrated in one area.
-
It was a good idea to reduce the size of Crotus Penn Asylum given just how big it was, but frankly it didn't need any buffs to the amount of pallets on the map. The main building to asylum remains the strongest building in the game for survivors that is pretty accessible from most areas of the map. With the additional pallets, survivors can too easily chain them together.
-
Good changes for Haddonfield, the increased amount of pallets feels fair given the small size of the map and relatively low strength of most of the buildings on the map.
-
Same, I feel no interest in playing her further until she is in a more balanced state.

Feel like this comment was supposed to be made a month ago lmao? Unless you have video of it hug teching on Wolf got patched out back on 8.2.2. Wolf is Vampire's weakest form at this point; most Dracula's are using Bat and Vampire form exclusively with the occasional Wolf use in niche situations.
-
I think the changes to shape-shifting's cooldown might end up being reverted. It allows Dracula to use bat way too aggressively that results in 50/50s at any window or dropped pallet. Also it's even easier to fly right ontop of a survivor and then transform right next to them, making an M1 or hellfire follow up pretty simple.
In my opinion, Dracula is now overall stronger (not nessecarily bad!) but in a more problematic way and with 1/3 of his kit not having much use anymore.

I don't know what causes this bug, but it's seriously awful. I've experienced it 6 times within 24 hours, last time I had to beg the survivor on the hook to DC so I could avoid another 30 minute DC penalty, since it keeps both you and the person on the hook trapped until one leaves.

This same clip at 1:35 though. When the devs mentioned not being able to hear it within her terror radius and queen saying something about Distressing being a good perk on her with extra terror radius mods, I would assume that they plan on changing it so that she can still jump scare people within her terror radius by masking the haunt sound while you are within terror radius. When she jump scared him he was within radius, but I'm pretty sure this was on PTB where everything was bugged to hell. So.....I guess?
Her base terror radius is 24 meters, the dev said, as long as you haunt within range of the husks terror radius which scales off of your own, the haunt sound is "muted" Im assuming? So that means if you are running distressing and bonus T radius perks you should be able to gen grab people again with a set up like that and maybe tracking perks like whispers.
Yeah it basically all depends on how they do it. I've seen it mentioned both that it could be tied exactly to her terror radius or it could just be a constant 24 meter, though likely it's gonna be tied to TR. The difference basically just decides whether you want to use Distressing or M&A. I just wanted to say that because while the devs considered the 8 meter change an improvement from the PTB, people that played it while it was all bugged experienced a version of the game where there was no noise when the spirit was in her phase walk regardless of range, and thus the 8 meter change seems like a nerf to us and a buff to the devs. Distressing would make her TR about 30-31, so with Whispers you'd have a fairly reliable way to get grabs off gens.

This effect was also in the PTB.At the moment if you are within 9M of the Spirit (husk), while she use her power, you will not hear the Power sound. So this is actually an improvement over the PTB. In the PBT you could hear it all the time.
Incredibly late reply, but unless there was a dev build separate from the PTB with changes, this is not the case. In the PTB, you could not hear the power sound at all. This is why she was so effective at gen grabs. This is also why people believe that survivors hearing the power at all is a nerf, because if it was intended on the PTB for survivors to hear it, then it was bugged and not working. Proof comes from a clip just posted in the DBD mashup
At 4:45, there is a clip of AdmiralBahroo from his stream during the PTB. The Spirit hooks a survivor away from him, definitely further than 32 meters. Bahroo stays on the generator and gets grabbed after the spirit phase walks over and get him. As you can see, Bahroo does not hear any sort of noise indicating she is phase walking. The killer doesn't have tinkerer, so she didn't sneak up to them until she was 8 meters away and then phase walk. The killer did not have the prayer beads to reduce their noise.

It's cause you're looking at the numbers from a non-statistics point of view, which is understandable cuz not everyone knows statistics well. What you need to consider is that each survivor has a 4% chance to kobe each kobe attempt, not just all of the first phase. To find out the real chance of kobeing, we need to consider it is 3 attempts in total.
The best way to find this out is by figuring out the chance that the survivor will **NOT ** kobe. Because you have a 4% chance to kobe, you have a 96% chance to fail to each kobe. So 1st attempt, 96% chance to fail. But with the 2nd attempt, we have to keep in mind that you only get a 2nd attempt if you fail to first one, so the odds of failing your first 2 kobe attempts is .96 * .96, then you still have to count the third attempt meaning your total equation is .96 * .96 * .96. doing this gets you about 88.5% for failing all 3 tries, meaning each survivor really has an 11.5% chance to unhook themselves if they try all 3 times. This is just the base chance, including things such as luck offerings, Slippery Meat, and Up The Ante increase their chance of kobeing.

Changes I personally want to see to The Spirit
- Removal the ability of survivors to hear the woosh noise while she is in the phase walk, right now I'd be happy if they just went for the proposed change of survivors not hearing it within 24 meters.
- Removal of any indicators that she is phase walking (Some people have said there's an effect on her body that only appears when she phase walks.)
- Reduce how long it takes to enter the phase walk. Base time right now always gives the survivor +8 meters distance on her before you're able to even start catching up. Reduce how much the addons for activation time give her in exchange for an improvement on base.
- Buff power recovery or change how her cooldown functions. Right now I believe if you are using both addons for power recovery, you still have to wait 14 seconds to use your power again after completely draining it. Preferably, I'd make it so you don't have to wait for the bar to refill to 100% before phase walking once again, instead maybe only 50%. Right now it feels like if you mess up on your phase walk as Spirit, you are punished more so than other killers missing their powers. Changing the cooldown to function at half filled means players are able to use the phase walk more often and if you miss a phase walk lunge, you don't have to wait for it to completely fill again for another shot.
- BUFF POINT GENERATION Her deviousness is awful lads. Grudge hits gives less points than a Wraith or Hag surprise attack with a much smaller margin of error in comparison. If you don't get that hit within like 2 seconds, goodbye point bonus. And her points from just traversing in the phase walk aren't much better. It seems like they ripped it straight from how much Billy gets for using his chainsaw to run around. The issue is that Billy does not have a limited duration for how long he can sprint, in theory he could sprint forever given the right map layout. Spirit can maybe phase walk 6-8 seconds before her meter is completely drained, and then it's another 20 second cooldown, while Billy can start a charge again after maybe 3 seconds if he wanted to. Double the rate of points she gets phase walking, increase her Grudge hits to the same amount of points as Hag & Wraith's hits, and give her the same amount of time Hag and Wraith have to get a hit and the bonus points.

We got the player's information from SpaceEsports. Some of the players were missing information or had closed accounts when we made the distribution. Maybe you are one of them? I'll message you in private. Thanks for the quick reply! I've messaged you back.
