  • A bit off topic: when will the archives update be released?

  • As others have already said devs confirmed multiple times it's just a pure gameplay decision, but yeah, lore-wise it can be explained quite accurately by the Entity's powers to bend timelines and dimentions at it's will, and so making multiple "Dwights"or "Claudettes" met in the same Trail.

  • Pretty sure they get re-created every time a new Trial starts. That would also explain the different locations of gens, pallets, chests ecc... every time a new Trial begins, even if it's the same exact map. Not sure if devs said something about this tho.

  • If phones were to be found inside the Entity's Realm they would just be things created by the Entity itself like the Medkit, the Flashlights ecc... and even if it was a real phone, it would certently do not work as it would in the real world. In my opinion, Ghostface is simply saving the photo for himself as a reminder.

  • At the moment no, there isn't a room that can be identified as the one the Hillbilly spent most of his childhood in into the Coldwind Farm house. Maybe after the rework, if even there will be one.

  • I personally divide the Killers in 3 groups (I'll leave the licenced killers out of it):

The ones that made a deal with the Entity:

These Killers are the ones that upon death in the real world made a deal with the Entity. The Spirit, the Hag and the Plague are in this category. Spirit and Hag accepted to do the Entity's bidding in exchange for vengence against her father and the cannibals that held her captive respectively. The Plague prayed the Gods to survive after being fatally infected, and the Entity responded and offered her salvation in exchange of doing it's work. The Entity most likey deceives the Plague by disguising as one of the ancient Gods she believes in.

The ones that had to be tortured by the Entity to get them to work:

These Killers didn't wanted to do the Entity's bidding and had to be tortured in order to be convinced. The Trapper, the Wraith and the Nurse are in this category. Everybody knows the Trapper has being tortured by just looking at his hooks and metal pieces pierced through his back and shoulders. The Devs recently stated in their latest lore-based stream that it was the Entity to choke the Nurse with a pillowcase and most likely the Wraith was tortured too since he was against killing in real life and has a great amount of bandages and scars.

The ones that accepted to work for the Entity willingly:

These Killers accepted willingly to kill for the Entity because they just enjoy killing. The Doctor, the Huntress, the Legion, the Clown and the Hillbilly are in this category. The Hillbilly is just a deranged individual that knows nothing but violence and killing due to his childhood. We all know the Clown and the Doctor killed a lot of people before being taken by the Entity and you can see in game how sadistic these 2 seems to be when hitting the Survivors with electricity/tonic. The Huntress is similar to the Hillbilly, as she doesn't know any better than killing after by being raised in a complete isolated envirorment. She probably has severe mental retardation as she behaves like a child in a adult body. I also think that after their first kill the Legion is completely mentally gone and all of them are now willing to keep killing anyone.

So to reply to your question yes, I think the Legion is among the most evil ones, but they may not be the absolute most evil because "things" like the Nightmare and the Shape are into the game too. It's also confirmed that Ghostface really likes killing too and that Leatherface kills out of fear and not evilness. I honestly don't have a clear image about the Pig, but I don't consider her purely evil.

  • Devs have specifically stated that the Hatch leads the Survivors to the Campfire, so your theory is wrong.

  • Nice theory but there are some evident and non-negligible mistakes.

Point 4 especially (the generator's one), is completely wrong. Devs have stated multiple times in their streams (have done so in their latest lore-based stream too) that everything you see in the Trial is made by the Entity excect for the Survivors and Killers. The Gens, the Exit Doors and the Hatch are made by the Entity itself to give the Survivors hope to actually escape, since we all know that no hope = no feeding the Entity can get. So those things are just a manifestation of the Entity like everything else in the Trail and are not construced by any survivor. So point 4 is completely wrong.

The Flashlights are also made by the Entity and given to the Survivors to increase their chances at surviving, their hope of survive the Trail and the feeding the Entity can draw from it, so the Flashlight's light is also made by the Entity itself.

Point 4 especially (the generator's one), is completely wrong. Devs have confirmed multiple times in their streams (have done so in their latest lore-based stream too) that everything you see in the Trial is made by the Entity itself except for the Survivors and the Killers. The Gens, the Escape Doors and the Hatch are made by the Entity in order to give Survivors a chance at escaping and are not constructed by any survivor. Those thing are just a manifestation of the Entity itself just like everyhing else around the map. Without them Survivors would have no hope to ever escpae a Trial and with no hope comes no feeding for the Entity. So point 4 is completely wrong.

Items like Flashlights are also made by the Entity and given to the Survivors as a tool to increase their chance at surviving hence to increase the feeding the Entity can draw from them. So the Flashlight's light is also made by the Entity itself.
