I don't like reporting people anyway, even if they're being legit trash, I was just wondering if other people were running into this problem. My biggest issue with it is the lack of bp and losing pips because of it, but someone was kind enough to tell me how to safety pip in the situation.

I'm a survivor main and I think Legion is still pretty powerful! I run into a couple every day that completely wreck the entire team and a few more that create so much chaos and pressure that the game is dragged out really nicely. My opinion might be moot because I never played as Legion, but I think it's a good killer and very lethal with someone skilled with Legion.

The best thing to do is disable chat if you're on PC or set your privacy on console so that people who aren't your friends can't send you any messages. People on this game are crazy toxic. I play survivor and I get toxic messages from other survivors. I'm talking rank 10 survivors when I'm a rank 1 calling me a potato because they died on the hook from doing stupid crap like instant saves or swarming the basement. I'm sorry it's not been a good experience so far for you, but there are good people who play the game. I hope it turns around for you!

To safety pip you need your team to not rush out after doing gens to get extra points, but that is hard as solo. Search chests, if you find toolbox you can damage hooks. Working with teammate on gen gives you extra points for coop. Run around basement you can get boldness. Only one you really end out getting hurt in is altruism. It can be annoying but doing that stuff you can atleast safety pip.
That's awesome advice! Thanks! I don't really like reporting anyone, especially not for that because they might be having a legit issue. I'll definitely do this next time I run into it.

I actually had never really thought of it as a reportable offense really, I may try that. I don't usually like reporting killers for anything because I feel like the game is hard enough for them already and most killers playing "toxic" are usually just new and figuring things out. What should I report the offense as?

As a survivor main I can tell you that SWF with more than one friend is more of a hindrance than an advantage most of the time. You feel added pressure not to leave anyone behind so once you're clear for an escape you risk yourself going back out again, giving the killer a chance to turn one kill into several kills. It's also easier for the killer to use your friends as bait, leaving them slugged in the open so you're pressured to leave gens or come out of hiding to help them. Solo teams are less altruistic, but a killer can definitely use SWF to their advantage. A couple of my friends are absolute potatoes, but I enjoy playing the game more with friends and I play for fun so it's not hard to take the losses.

Maybe if both killers and survivors would stop whining and play the game as is the devs could focus more on developing awesome new content and less on pacifying a bunch of cry babies who expect to win a game with no real skill. BHVR can't win with most these people because you can't give everyone everything they want and these people want everything their way. Play the game or don't play the game, but stop whining and expecting these people to tailor their game to your specific needs or wants. BHVR trying to appease the whiners has directly contributed to quite alot of the issues the game has now.

Look, I survivor main, and any killer played well is hard to beat, and they should be! So many survivors whine about how unbalanced the game is, but here's the thing, the killer is one and the survivors are four. The killer should be powerful, like really powerful, because all supernatural killers are really powerful and this is a horror game. Enjoy the play, accept your losses, and understand this game would be alot less fun if the killers were weak.
