• I think you made a great point. Them already making the killer able to close the hatch was a wrong move. The least they could do is speed up the time for the hatch to open.

  On the killer closing the hatch/you jumping at the same time issue, definitely the player jumping should take precedence. The other 3 survivors are already dead/dc'ed, it's only fair that if a survivor finds the hatch and initiates the jump sequence, that they should be able to escape.
