When ur will run dbd again, ur settings will be refresh and it will be good, it works for me.
Can confirm, fixed for me as well. It sucks to lose settings, but better than playing in darkness.

It is not just brightness, it is textures as well. Also contrasts and lighting.

The Cowshed and Cowshed 2 pictures are as pig. The other ones are from Freddy (much worse).

Cowshed.png Cowshed2.pngIt seems like I loaded some waaay older textures or something. Also Freddy's sleep mechanic makes all the structures brigther on coldwind.
