Personally, I enjoy red ranks as both killer and survivor. For me it provides a good challenge and prevents to game from getting too stale with all the different ways survivors try to juke and mind game. I'll be honest, red rank killer is stressful and incredibly challenging having to juggle all 4 survivors but it just comes down to practice. Red rank survivor is much more difficult to me because I'm not the best looper in the world nor am I super strategic with my movements but I try to stay as efficient as possible by making sure I'm always on a Gen or something else productive. This might be seen as Gen rushing but I also get chests, totems, and saves so I'm not only doing generators. For survivors I typically run a hook save build with kindred, BT, we'll make it, and a random one for fun. As killer I typically run ruin, BBQ, and whatever else. If I'm not using ruin I'm using devour hope because I know ruin gets old and I like the variety. This is just my personal experience with both sides with my own set of perks, which I know most are meta but if it works it works. I'm not gonna complain about a perk if I use it too. You may think whatever you like but I think red rank killer is easier then survivor from my personal experience. I also think red rank killer is much more fun because catching those tbagging flashlight spamming d-bags is amazing. I don't camp but I definitely don't let them do the same thing twice and get a few escape. You wanted my attention, well, you've got it. Put on a good show.

Where is the struggle in holding a button?
You have a fair point, it is called struggle for a reason but in light of all the changes that enhance the game to make it more fun for players what if dying second hook almost every game is ruining my fun? Should not the devs change that if they're changing everything else for the sake of our, survivors and killers, fun?

Dang, a whole year of dying every time you get to second hook?
I'm honestly in awe of your persistence.
I'm sorry for the confusion but it wasn't Everytime, it was about half way through struggle. Also, if you saw my player levels you'd see how I still played for all that time. In other words, I played a ton of killer.

For clarification on my own post I didn't die Everytime on second hook it was mainly when I got past about a quarter left in the bar, so about half way through struggle, it just gets to fast and I can't keep up. If ever I got further it was perfect conditions and my hand felt like cooperating for once.

I can already see the salty nerf posts

I admit legion is a bit weak but I play him often at red ranks with a build I always use, ruin, BB&C, sloppy butcher and thanataphobia, and usually get 3 kills sometimes 4 kills if I feel like slugging. I hate how people say that he's so bad like other killers like plague and pig but i think they're pretty good if you play them properly. In my opinion "weak" killers are just played improperly or the survivors are stronger than anticipated. I don't want to make too much of a discussion since this post is about Freddy, not legion, but I'll tie it in by saying that i get a lot of DCs as legion especially when they see me running iridescent button and recovery add-ons. It's definitely not just Freddy.

I've done this as killer. I had just prestiged legion and went into a game to do a challenge and ended up getting 31k blood points with 4 kills and there were 5 gens left at rank 7. I'm pretty sure it was a swf too because one of them was rank 20 and the other three were 5 or 6. It's a good day when you 4k with 5 gens but that day was even better with no perks. I don't know how they didn't get any done but it was a fun game nonetheless.
