Yet another whiny killer main screaming to the top of their lungs to be coddled.

Imagine thinking the PTB was done not on Consoles by choice, rather than on Playstations' and Xbox' store guidelines that don't allow test builds to be pushed.
Imagine making an ill informed comment that implies experimental builds aren't allowed on consoles when they actually are. Run along now.
-
Maybe if they'd, I don't know, have more PTBs and also let the other half of their player base (console players) participate in those PTBs instead of constantly treating us like second class citizens (despite eagerly vacuuming up our first class dollars), they'd catch more bugs before pushing out subpar updates.
-
Are survivors all of a sudden sabotage happy? Because I missed that memo. I've yet to see an influx of teammates rushing in to save me from being hooked by sabotaging a hook.
-
It's almost as if the PTB (which already excludes a significant chunk of the player base, btw) is pointless save for the contempt it breeds between the different platforms. (Since only the input of PC players matters, even though there are important distinctions in how both camps experience this game.)
-
The unfortunate truth is that Behaviour simply doesn't care at all about console players' experience. They make all kinds of excuses regarding frame rate, lag, and keyboard+mouse support that many, many other game developers have somehow figured out (Bizzard w/ Overwatch and Square Enix w/ Final Fantasy XIV immediately come to mind). They knowingly delivered a subpar experience to millions of gamers because they knew console players would be a cash cow they could milk for very little effort. But, hey, someone's got to pay for the next shiny, new license. Would you rather have a more equitable experience to PC players or Resident Evil, Nightmare on Elm Street, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, etc.? Priorities, dude. Priorities. THEIR priorities, of course. Not yours. Never yours.

Red rank killer game is simply too challenging (for me) at this time. My win condition in 4 bbq stacks. The amount of games where I have to camp my 3rd stack because all 5 gens are done happen way too often.
The reality is survivors have too many resources. Literally though survivors do try to milk each pallet loop, they really don't need to at all. You can literally throw a pallet down and gain distance loop once or twice throw pallet down, gain distance, and repeat. The killer either has to leave you and pressure gens (but then that guy can just do the exact same thing).
Gens will pop quickly and the game ends. I've had a few games lately where survivors have said "gg" and I don't think they're even being disingenuous, but after it's like, "well was it?" That game lasted maybe 6 minutes. What was good about it?
I think in general there needs to be way less pallets. Maybe 8-10 tops. If you're going to have 20-25 like on some maps, then they shouldn't spawn at all. Maybe 3 or 4 pallets spawn after it gets down to 2 gens as a reward, but the killers need some early game pressure. And with 20 pallets plus most players running some sort of exhaustion perk, many to most killers really have issues getting early pressure.
I know I know, "I get 4ks all the time". Sure, play enough and you'll have some easy matches too. But any group of survivors that split up on gens and simply exchange 40-45 second chases, are going to win most matches. And if the games lasted a bit longer and there was more action, at least losing would be kind of fun. As it is now, it's been rough for me post 4.5.2. And from the sounds of it it's been rough for many other killers as well.
So uhh devs... How's that early game mechanic coming along? Because 1/5th of your player base (if not more) really could use it... Any day now.
We have too many resources? I spat out my vodka so as not to choke on your hilarious hypocrisy. Killers are faster, indestructible, almost all of your aura/location perks or add-ons trump ours, you're never more than 12 steps away from a conveniently located hook, wiggling is freaking useless, the hit boxes are in your favor, Behaviour has closed off an insane number of exits and vaults, they've made the maps brighter and less cluttered, and "face camping is a viable killer strategy." Not to mention the always popular killer habit to "hit 'em over and over again while they're on the hook because I'm a killer, thus allowed to be toxic, but don't you DARE teabag me!"
I swear, it's like you killers just expect us to stand there and let you beat our brains in so that you always get what you need out of every match. Survivors can't even physically defend ourselves except for flashing a comically underpowered flashlight at you, using a difficult Hail Mary that the devs recently had the audacity to make even more situational than it already was (Defensive Strike), or dropping a pallet (and heaven help us if it actually connects, because you psychos will usually tunnel us into the ground for daring to, y'know, try to SURVIVE).
And did I mention that wiggling, a survivor's only consistent means of physical agency against a killer, is FREAKING USELESS? I did? Sorry, I forgot as I'm literally wearing away the anti-slip rubber on my controller in my 1 millionth futile attempt to wiggle free from a killer. I'm being hauled off to my doom but all I can really do is throw my hands in the ayer? And wave 'em like I just don't cayer? Wait, maybe if I put on Boil Over, which makes my wiggling 75% more effective? Oh, never mind; I already had it equipped. Not that it even matters since you killers are never more than two farts away from a hook anyway. Maybe Slippery Meat and all these laughably worthless luck add-ons and Up The Anti will help me get off this hook? Because EVERYONE knows that luck is absolutely not the most worthless stat in all the history of video games. Surely Behaviour wouldn't have trolled us by making a survivor with a completely useless perk. Nah. Perhaps we survivors have too many things going for us after all. WONK WONK.
-
Is no one going to mention how they sneakily zoomed in the survivor perspective so that we now see less of our surroundings than before? I used to be able to see my entire character from head to toe when standing. Not anymore. Also, whenever I'm hooked, the zoom is so bad that the killer's upper torso and lower legs are clipped.
-
What would make survivors happy? A realistic way to physically fight back (and don't you dare say that's what DS is, because it's not). It's completely ridiculous and unrealistic that the only thing a grown adult can do while being carried off to their doom is wave their arms like a petulant toddler being carted off to bed.
-
I play on PS4 and for me, if I'm playing killer, cross play is always off. I get clowned hard by PC survivors' higher accuracy/mobility and lower latency. They are also WAY more toxic than console survivors, IMHO.
However, if I'm playing survivor solo, I turn cross play on because PC killers don't seem to have much more of an advantage than console killers (except for Nurses and Blights) and the matches usually queue up faster. When I play SWF with my homie, I turn cross play off because she absolutely refuses to play with/against PC players who have a hardware advantage.

This is a great idea! This would give all players, ESPECIALLY survivor mains incentive to play killer and vice versa.
Play a few rounds of killer and now you have 5 toolboxes, a medkit and a key to put on a character and on the opposite side, you can't use any of the stuff you just collected so you might as well play survivor
The daily ritual system is more than enough incentive for me, personally. The game all but refuses to give me daily rituals for survivors. 9 out of 10 are for killers.

I'm sorry, but if you bought the ps5 and then you'll waste it just to play dbd again, that's, let's call it a gamer move. like, isn't the horrible and untruthful way devs handled the whole console debacle enough to stop playing dbd on console, especially after trashing the ps4?
The devs were shady about consoles AND trashed the PS4 specifically? Could you you elaborate, please? I've not heard anything about this before.

Why don't both of you take that crap elsewhere. We're discussing legion, not killer mains and survivor mains.
Suck an abscess.

Don't you know? They have to make survivor mains happy because they don't want to be flooded with crybabies on the forums and their social media.
You killer mains trip me out by calling survivor mains crybabies. Let someone mention Survive with Friends and the majority of you meltdown.

We have been cutting them slack for years. I have literally finished 3 video game programming classes while waiting for them to fix their bugs. 1 more semester and I'll be able to make this game myself. They don't deserve anymore slack.
This. They don't seem to have any sympathy at all for their players who are still supporting a bug-ridden game, despite all the money we throw at them. And they certainly don't seem to have any sympathy for us when they very purposefully don't fix things like losing your offerings when someone disconnects. Or when they show you how many points you would have received when someone disconnects...but then they still don't give you the points. Or when they permanently reduce the already poor hair rendering on consoles, then turn around and brazenly offer up new cosmetics for console players while pretending that hair doesn't look even more booty-doo than before.

People play hag like a camper all the time because she is heavily punished for moving away from a specific area of the map. People would enjoy playing as and against hag more if she had infinite teleport range since she wouldn't be so reliant on snowballing with hooks. Also, this would make maps such as Rotten Fields not so awful to play on as the hag.
Agreed. And then two of her supposedly best add-ons remove her ability to teleport. What's the point of a 300% bloodpoint boost to deviousness if I'll rarely be able to get to the offending survivors in time to take advantage of it?
