  • As someone who has played with survivors who run full selfish builds, I just have to say, never judge a book by its cover. Judge a survivor by their playstyle not their perks. This is why bhvr will likely never show what perks survivors have in a solo q environment.

  • You can disable auto aim if you play the game on pc by going to your gameusersettings.ini file. There's a line of code that says "AimAssist=True" set it to False and boom, no aim assist. I cannot confirm nor deny that this wont get you banned but considering the fact that people have modified this game's gamefiles for literal years without getting banned, I highly doubt it will get you banned because if anything it provides you a disadvantage with certain killers like nurse or blight or wesker (basically any high mobility killer)

There are far greater issues with balance than this but actually BHVR is planning to bring all grunts of pain to the same volume. Quieter footsteps is not a survivor issue. It only depends on the ground they are walking on, which makes sense to me. Darker cosmetics are not that big of a deal. The only situations where those come in clutch is on Garden of Joy, Midwich and Saloon and that is more of a problem with these maps as they are too dark in some places to see anything. On other maps, yeah it can be a bit harder to make out a survivor in the distance but you still see movements very well. You can also see crows fly in the distance and know someone is around there.

I've played with jane from the most recent tome skin and I can confirm some skins do in fact change the survivor footstep sounds, thought I'm not sure which or how many of them do.

  • Bhvr needs to hire game logistics people and fundamentally change the game a bit rather than release perks that act as bandaids for meta killer tactics (such as camping and tunneling). If they can fix that, they can start to really go ham on nerfing survivor perks to balance the game out more for both sides.

  • Those percentages are a bit too high for it to be acceptable and non abusable with other perks. In reality it would have to be like 5% bonus to things at max. Ideally I'd like to see different game modes where survivors have those bonuses while killers have a few basekit perks added, make it a high stakes match.
