  • I understand your frustration, but there are certain ways to handle situations once they happen in the game. Here are a few examples:

Boil Over / Sabo Team - If you run into a team that is using Boil Over / Sabo and you can't get them hooked, just start slugging them. Slugging may sound harsh to some, but it's a valid strategy in certain situations (like this one). Once you start slugging, it will add gen pressure as they will be too busy trying to heal instead of doing gens. Eventually, once the team uses up all their unbreakable or second chance perks, you'll have them all slugged and will be able to hook them.

Flashlight Team - If you run into a team that is using multiple flashlights, the best solution to this is Lightborn. Once a survivor realizes you have Lightborn, and they're unable to bully you with their flashlight, you should be able to play as normal without any issues. Also, I noticed a lot of Flashlight SWF squads will DC a match once they realize you have Lightborn as a perk.

I'm not sure why you having an issue with Dead Hard as it only activates once per chase and it's possible to mind game a survivor into wasting their Dead Hard. If you're having trouble catching a survivor because they are a good looper or have great pallet/map knowledge, break off chase and go back to gen patrolling. Don't waste too much time on catching one survivor.

  • When I play killer, I just turn my in game chat off. Makes for a better gaming experience IMO. People are going to trash talk no matter what happens. When playing survivor, I've had killers who got wrecked, only killed one person, and they still typed GG EZ in the chat because they got one kill. LOL

  • The Boil Over changes are most likely going to be reverted. I'm a survivor main and even I admit the Boil Over change is WAY too strong.

It's difficult to balance a perk because you have to take into consideration what happens when you combine other perks with it once you make the change. Based on all the feedback that is coming in, I believe they will revert the perk to it's previous state or at least nerf it (maybe removing the 25% penalty for falling from a height).

    New idea:

Remove Mori's entirely, buff keys, nerf the ######### out of all killers. Survivors can now Mori killers.

Am I right, ha ha ha?

If it isn't obvious, I'm not serious. But I think if a dev reads this, that's what is going to happen.

Nah, they are not removing moris. In fact, they want to add moris to the killer's base kit (they stated that before in previous dev streams), but they need to figure out a way to do it. This is why I made this suggestion as I think it's a fair way to give killer's the ability to mori in every match.

  • No Way Out is fine as it is. It's a perk that the killer actually has to work for to get the full effect (hooking each survivor once). Also the perk helps to promote fair gameplay by reducing tunneling since the killer needs to hook each survivor.

Mori should be enabled by default once the gates are open. No more song and dance with DS giving you a free exit. You hang around and get downed during that time that's on you. Add a bonus BP reward for unhooking survivors during that time too.

It's an interesting idea, but the only problem with this is that killers will just run NOED all the time, which will make this very overpowered.

I like it, its fair and not overpowered. The next thing should be improve the mori animations of some killers like, trapper, wraith, hillbilly, blight, huntress, doctor, freddy and pig.

Making this change and giving all killers the ability to mori in a match would bring lots of available options to DBD. For example, you could create custom moris that could be sold in the DBD store. Lots of additional revenue potential there. Killer mains would most likely purchase custom moris for their favorite killer, through using shards or auric cells.

Also, I believe this new system would be very fair and promote good gameplay (e.g. having to hook at least each survivor once in order to prevent killers from tunneling for their moris).
