Neutral Good -
Chaotic Good - Wraith (Their act of killing was for good but the entity still took them)
Lawful Neutral - Deathslinger (Organized their killing due to being significantly wronged)
True Neutral - Hag, Spirit, Demogorgon (Normal people who experienced trauma who kill due to manipulation or have no true concept of their actions)
Chaotic Neutral - Hillbilly, Huntress, Cannibal, Blight, Twins (Twisted people that kill due to fear, cluelessness and manipulation)
Lawful Evil - Nurse, Doctor, Oni, Trickster (Use position and status to kill for complex goals)
Neutral Evil - Trapper, Pig, Clown, Legion, Ghostface (People that kill to kill)
Chaotic Evil - Myers, Nemesis, Executioner (Essentially an embodiment of torment and evil itself)

Plague believes the entity to be one of the gods of her time and sees it as the one who saved her civilization
Demo is like a dog that works for the entity to appease its hunger
Oni is tormented by the entity as it turned him into what he fears most

Why would a dog fetch a stick if it isn't human. The monster killers act on basic commands and their abilities reflect that, the entity just gives them commands.

Lust: The Nightmare (Remake Freddy was into some twisted sexual acts)
Gluttony: The Cannibal (Due to his build and constant hunger for human flesh)
Greed: The Trickster (Easily the wealthiest killer and let his bandmates die so he could rise to a powerful position, also wears expensive clothing and uses custom made weapons)
Sloth: The Legion (Despite their fast speed they refuse to do any actual work, they vandalize places they worked at because they got fired for not working hard enough and live off of other people's work by stealing)
Wrath: The Spirit (Due to her constant desire to avenge the murder of her family by her fathers hands)
Envy: The Hillbilly (Literally names himself after the father he wished to be)
Pride: The Oni (Obsessed with his family's image and his social standing and sees himself as superior to those of lower class and his murder spree targets people he thinks don't deserve to be on his level)

Maybe because survivors from our time are more familiar with the concept of slashers therefor would in a way get their goal more? Also i suppose the entity does pick older survivors as Talbot was a survivor prior to his capture.

I'd killer to see the devs try to work this into the game somehow, Christine would need its own map/gamemode just to work.

The Thing, Bioshock or The OG Invisible Man or really just any classic universal monster like the gillman or Frankenstein

It's probably an oversite, whoever animates the tomes was likely just told to draw zombies and most zombies in media are the undead, not living infected people.

John despite his evil actions in his mind has benevolent motives, he believes that through torture that he is helping people, so I doubt he would kill for the sake of killing with an audience he cannot "rehabilitate" as the survivors will forever be stuck in the realm. Amanda believes John's traps are pointless as people don't deserve second chances and cannot change, hence why she'd be more willing to downright kill people.

Personally I don't think a non horror based killer would work, maybe like a borderline horror killer like something from a thriller or a piece of media with horror aspects that isn't explicitly horror, for example the terminator or a big daddy from Bioshock
