Well I understand it to secure a kill, but there should at least a chance for the hooked surv and their mates to help each other. If the Killer is directly in front of him and just nodding like "you will die" and facecamping and u literally know your mates can nothing do, cause they are one strike for example when it is billy, or bubba then it is just no fun at all. When the killer has to leave the area near the hook or otherwise the bar will go up and you can unhook yourself, then there is at least a slightest chance of fight.
