  • Sometimes when playing killer the game will pause for several seconds when I pick up a downed survivor. What is causing this and is there a plan to fix it?? Also I occasionally get noticeable frame drops when playing killer, usually when I swing at a survivor, however I've never experienced frame drops as survivor. Why does this happen and is there a fix? I'm playing on PS4.

  • I manage to get to rank 1 survivor without acting like a jerk and teabagging at pallets and what not. You can argue all you want about strategy but at the end of the day you're just being a jerk. If you only can get ahead by purposefully upsetting your opponent that speaks volumes to your actual level of skill and maturity. While you are correct that tilting your opponent can lead to a win it's also an unnecessary way to play and really reflects the quality of your character more than anything else. I manage to be successful at this game as both killer and survivor, both red ranks, without purposefully upsetting my opponent or going out of my way to make it to where someone doesn't have fun.

I would like to see the numbers on killer to survivor ratio. Here in the forums you would think there are so few killers, yet my game experience is very different.

I primarily play killer 85% of the time. My que times on PC, U.S. midwest are 5 to 10 minutes in primetime hours and 15 to 20 in off peak hours.

When I play survivor, it is with my wife and que times are almost always instant or 2 to 3 minutes. Last night I trodded through survivor M1 simulation for 3 grueling hours (happy wife, happy life) and we kept getting instant ques and would run into the same survivors over and over again.

Tonight, I play killer all night and wait roughly 7 minutes for a lobby and again kept seeing repeat survivors, usually every third match or so.

Based on that, it would imply there are too many killers for the number of survivors.

    Killer rank 2

    Survivor rank 8

I think it is pure crappy match making, plain and simple. I kept seeing rank 16 to 20 survivors all night. They were not SWF. Got this poor rank 19 guy 3 times, each time with different survivors. I luckily recognized it and let him loop me around and pretended to lose him.

I play on PS4 in Midwest US and my survivor queue times can range from 3-15 minutes whereas my killer queue times are less than 30 seconds. Currently rank 4 Survivor and rank 10 killer. I've found the times have stayed consistent from rank 20 to throughout all the other ranks. I've gotten to red rank killer but I take long breaks from playing killer, like a month or more depending on how frustrating the gameplay had been. I play survivor a few times a week pretty regularly and honestly find it disappointing how easy it keeps getting.

Point I wanted to make though is that queue times seem to be very different depending on which platform you play on.
