I have only come across one level I can't beat by just taking my time. A level 10 Outpost, this guy built a large cage with only a single block entrance, and the entirety of the inside of the structure is just Plasma turrets.
That's it, nothing else, just Plasma turrets. Dozens of them. You can see 35 of them from the door, and I'm sure there's more than that.
And he's got it set up that you can't access the genmat or any of the tombs directly, and there's nothing you can use to block the shots from the turrets, and the shield only protects you for so long.
There are definitely people out there who are, in my opinion, going against the intent of the game and just aiming for cheese, but most of the time, if you take your time, you can beat those levels anyway.

Are you having a hard time gathering Synthite? I don't, I have no trouble banking enough to reset at all.

I'm going to try to be as respectful as possible because ya'll are human beings and put in a lot of work for this game. But, know that I'm extremely pissed and disappointed at the same time. This game has so much potential and I've been very excited to play this. Particularly because I have a creative mind, but can also be brutal with that creativeness.
You cannot promote creativity and freedom just to put us all on a completely pointless leash. That leash being the HRV (Harvester). I don't see how it was even considered as a feature within the game, to be honest. I just spent hours making a massive tower with a fairly difficult platforming section just to have to make a back entrance for a Harvester...why? Why in God's name would this be added to the game? Again, I'm sorry if I'm upset, but my mind is genuinely blown right now. If the concern was, "Well, we needed a way to make sure levels were even possible to beat," then you really dropped the ball with the decision you made. I mean, Trials figured it out a decade ago, "Hey, if you can beat the level yourself, then it's good to go."
This is what I would suggest:
• You can upload ANY level you create.
• If even a single player, including yourself after testing the map, makes it to the end and completes the level, then you can start collecting materials.
• If you feel that you MUST keep the Harvester, then make it so you earn extra materials if the Harvester has a clear path. It promotes making difficult levels while being challenged with certain limitations.
Anyways, besides that, I think the game is really cool, but until something gets changed with the level creator, I might not play. I'm just one player, so I'm sure that doesn't matter to anyone, but I hope it makes it clear how much it means to me and how serious I am about the complaint.
Love how you started this out with a "look how utterly amazing I am" paragraph and then followed it up with a "lemme create unbeatable levels cuz I need to stoke my ego".
Harvey exists to ensure that there is a transitable path.
Harvey exists ENTIRELY to prevent pudwackers like you from walling off the Genmat and the Tombs and then standing back and telling yourself amazing you are.
Refrain from speaking further.
Everyone will be much happier for it.

This is a really solid suggestion! Seconded.
Thirded.
Is Thirded a thing?
But yeah I like that idea.

I don't actually worry about this.
Is it arbitrary.....yes.
Does it matter in the long run...no.
Sure my brutal maps don't get as much traffic as my dangerous ones, but it doesn't cost more to reset them once they run out, and when people do run my Brutal maps, I get 9+ kills per run, even with doubles. So.....
Yeah I don't think it matters.

I was not aware of this either.
Still an option to collect resources at the player hub instead of having to enter the base would be nice. Perhaps an option at the replay station that displays new resource drop count and forces collection or something.
I concur

I'll admit it bothers me a tad that running doubles on a raid is basically an automatic win, but, generally I get 12 to 15 kills per run when they do this so.....in the long run, I think its better for the builder. You get a ton of kills for prestige, and plenty of bonus mats.

So I know there are some unsportsmanly folks out there, but I'm starting to encounter an OVERWHELMING number of Outposts where folks have walled off the Tombs. This is extremely distasteful, it doesn't hurt you if your opponent robs the Tomb, it doesn't cost you anything.
Stop doing this.

If you notice most guards are dirt cheap, 50 resources, which is the same as a Bolt Trap, which doesn't move at all, and only shoots once. Guards are meant to either be used in massive numbers to overwhelm, or to distract the Custodian so he moves into a trap. When I deploy guards I always do so in groups of at least six or seven.
