  • just make him 105%, lose two tokens on kick, and give him hugtech back and he'd be in a perfect spot. There's no need to overcomplicate it.

  • I think more interesting way to implement this would be to make the obsession status swap to you every 30 seconds (whenever the perk activates).

If we are concerned about the risk of multiple survivors running this and making it a moot point, then thats just more reason to allow survivors to see each others builds in the lobby.

  • "The nurse should not freely disregard looping to the extent she currently does, using her power to nullify any form of counterplay via loops."

Nurse has more counterplay in chase than blight or spirit. She plays a different game but thats not necessarily a bad thing. It means you don't really have to balance maps around her all that much which is for the better. Whereas someone like blight warps the games design by requiring 50 million trillion pallets to be on any given map. The only way nurse warps game design is by forcing maps to have a good mix of open areas and LOS blockers which is a good thing!

"- The nurse should be more beginer friendly by being at least ok at regular chases, as is the case for most killers, even the ones with strong powers."

Why? I think it is reasonable for the two strongest killers (blight and nurse) to be correspondingly difficult. That seems much more fair than allowing an extremely easy killer to be overpowered. Part of what makes nurse so satisfying and fun to play is her difficulty. Theres a reason i don't play killers like singularity or clown at all, because theres nothing to learn. The skill ceiling is so low you can't even fully stand up under it.

"The nurse cannot see auras while charging her power. This prevents aura perks from becoming semi-guaranteed downs on the hands of skilled players, but still allows for their use as information tools."

A fine conclusion! I agree wholeheartedly.

"The nurse's power takes twice as long to charge, but charges both charges at once. This roughly equates to the same time per blink for recharging, but would hamper the speed at which she gets individual blinks back."

This just removes skill expression. A survivor getting 1-blinked is, as cliche as the sentiment is, a skill issue. If you get hit in 1 blink you deserve to get two tapped. The same way if you get M1'd by a blight you deserve to get two tapped. Or if you walk into a bear trap you deserve to go down. If you make a good play you should be rewarded accordingly. there is nothing wrong with her current cooldowns, and if anything they should be buffed slightly.

"The nurse's power no longer recharges while any survivor has direct sight of her. This gives experienced players counterplay in the form of keeping her within view to deny her her power, as well as stop her from continuously putting impossible pressure on whoever she chases."

    ???????????????????????

"The nurse's movement speed is increased to 4.4, allowing her to actually perform as a mediocre m1 killer while out of her power, similar to the spirit or the hag. This would make the nurse much more beginer friendly, and allow her to see more use outside of those who play mostly only her as she wouldn't be as completely dependent on her blinks being super strong."

What this would actually do is just make nurse zone you instead of LOS blinking or using her power in general. A 4.4 nurse walking you down would be the equivalent of making blight kick pallets 40% faster. This makes their design objectively worse in every way and miserable to play against.

  • Shattered square is incredibly unfair for m1 killers, and forgo is still incredibly boring for killer because theres no reason to ever chase bot-side in favor of the top side 3 gen, and is equally boring for survivor.

  • Yeah, console players should absolutely be able to use Gyro Aiming and Flickstick to player controller killer

  • It is completely possible the lead paint has gotten to my brain though, so maybe i'm wrong

  • Oh yeah, please stop changing maps that are already good. Macmillian does not need ANY changes. I'm not sure why we're buffing water tower (already one of the strongest structures on the map) and adding the horrible terrible awful no good coldwind gyms

  • I know the focus of this thread isn't on the universal anti tunnelling changes, but i would like to say that i found a post with a very elegant solution to tunnelling that doesn't involve a million compromises.

  • Lopro flicks being removing is absolutely tragic though, I really hope they don't go through with that…

  • Addendum: After playing the ptb for a while, I must say that harassing the killer after getting freshly unhooked is some of the most fun i've ever had playing dbd.
