• Everything you said in your post is the Ghoul working as intended.
  To explain:
  
  1) Survivors losing their marks instantly when mending if you have other marks is normal, only the last one will create the time as, as long as someone is still in deep wound with a mark, there is no need for a timer as your power is infinite in this state.
  
  2) The Sliding after a Leap only happens if you are still in power. Since the power is depleted right as you send out your last leap, the slide cannot occur. If you cancel your power during a leap, you also will not slide right after. This is done this way to probably make the Grab-attack not make you slide way past the survivor.
