Want to learn more? Watch the VOD.
Please make consider making blight 110. Blight with no perks and add ons is still stronger than most of the killer roster.

Balanced Map. Please do not update.
-
Blight is in major need of balance changes. The add-on changes will likely not be enough to bring him to a normal place in the game.

What is the proposed 3 gen solution? Getting 3 gen'd is 100% a skill issue that comes from lack of planning, it would be absurd to punish killers for planning out well the mid game when survivors can get rewarded for a lack of planning.
EHHHHH, the problem is not that simple. If you think its simple watch some comp play. The best most coordinated survivors in the game still have to break 3 gens. If the killer starts 3 genning at the the start then it really isnt from the survivor side lack of planning.

Improved the gameplay playing into trickster by a large degree, more skill expression on both sides so I think it was a good change.

I don't get what's the problem of "free injuries" from Skull Merchant. Legion and Plague also have powers with free injuries, and less countereable than the skull merchant one in fact, and almost nobody complain about them, well some people used to complain about Legion, but about how boring is to face them not about their free hits.
I dont think theirs are free. With plagues there is counter play to dodge the injury such as juking and ducking puke. You can also choose when to be infected by not interacting with infected items. Legion has a long delay in between injury and leaving power. You can also mind game him to miss or land pallet. Both of those Killers require the killer to do something with their skill. This is not true of Skull Merchant.

the title. iam so anxious they will destroy the fun parts about blight from all the complaints.
thoughts ?
It would be good to see his power be toned down a tier or two. Such a strong discrepancy between blight/nurse and other killers is actually really unhealthy for the game because it means they cannot make changes to game mechanics that would improve all killers experience.
-
Skull Merchant is still the most hated killer in the game and gets free injuries out of nowhere. They needed to tone it down a little so that is a great change to see. Borgo we will have to see. 18 seems like a lot, but the map was massively empty of pallets so this will bring it up to a similar place as other maps.

I have no idea what tier lists you're reading, but the ones I've seen will maybe, narrowly put Sprint Burst above DH, but never Lithe above DH.
And I've seen comp players swing into DH pretty regularly. The ones I've talked to say it's just not worth it to try and play the waiting game if it means they might make it to a pallet.
This page shows you what the best Survivor perks are in the game Dead By Daylight. The data is community based and open for voting.number 1 list when googled and it’s community voted so its not just one persons opinion. Lithe and sprint burst both above dh.

No one believes that the entire survivor playerbase was "playing easy" and using dead hard out of some goodness of their heart lol
Dead hard just doesn’t take as much brain power to get value. After learning the timing it’s pretty easy to get value out of it. I don’t know what game you’re playing but the entire player base is not using dead hard. Maybe you just get hit by it a lot but by waiting it out I would say I hit a survivor with dead hard like once a match? Almost every community tier list has lithe above dead hard. It’s just a stronger perk that does more once you practice how to use it effectively. If you straight up tunnel a survivor for 3 gens and don’t wait out dead hard rather than spreading out injuries you’re game is gonna sucks.

I mean kill rates aside the amount of time it takes to get good at killer is astronomically less than survivor. I don’t think anyone who has played a serious amount of both sides could even possibly make the argument that killer is harder than survivor. The game is meant to be killer sided because the fact is the amount of people who want to spend hours of games playing alone is less than those that want to play survivor. I am like 2k hours on survivor and 150 hours on killer and still 4K lobbies with streamers and 100 prestige etc last season during my first Iri 1 climb. Most killer complaints are because they play some suboptimal killer and are surprised they aren’t doing well. If I brought no mither and spies from the shadows every game I would also do awful. Not every perk or killer is made to get a 4K every game. Learn nurse or blight if you want to 4K every game.

She’s fine with the exception that in the late game you pretty much have no incentive to play on the survivor side. When there’s only 2 survivors left and 1 gen one player pretty much just had to kill themselves to get the game to end. Not a problem unique to her, but arguably the worst actor in the role. She also has a funky M1 animation. Arm gets longer during the lunge so even if you think you’re super far away from her it hits. Ending up pre dropping pallets because the lunge distance I doesn’t match what it looks like it should.

I tend to agree with hooks. The frustrating thing is you can wiggle in certain parts of the map if you just know where those dead ones are. For example, basement at preschool is basement doesn’t spawn there. Then other maps survivors can bring boil over, flip flop, unbreakable, tenacity and still not wiggle after a sabo hook and people tanking hits. Seems like you should reward a team for running wiggle perks and if you aren’t running wiggle perks or tanking hits you should nearly always get hooked. Same with gens. Why are there maps like Thompson house that end 100% of the time fighting over the gen in the house.
-
dead hard isn’t even that strong right now. Generally it’s just used to punish killers that are playing like pieces of #########. Kind of like DS. Killers are gonna be pretty frustrated when they realize lithe/lucky break, flashbang/lithe is stronger anyway. Hell I think if you get good at the game theres an argument that spring burst and balanced landing is 100X more cancerous as well.

Healing nerfs are fairly cringy for sure. I will say the killer perks getting nerfed doesn't seem to really be the solution most players were looking for anyway. The problem is the meta is creating 45 minute games fighting over a 3 gen the killer forced from the start of the game. Killers shouldnt be forced to protect a 3 gen as the only way they think they can win. Walking to each generator to apply as many gen regression perks you have until the survivors don't want to play anymore is not ideal. Nerfing eruption call of brine felt great because it support that so much. Not healing vs certain killers is also just certain death. Playing into wraith you pretty much just have to tank the first hit to get to the pallet anyway since on a ton of gens you cant see him coming.
-
I wouldn't hate this but maybe make it so it cannot happen multiple times to one generator. Even something where that cooldown is reset if a gen is completed. The deadman switch interaction is also fairly cringy for new players so I wouldn't hate them doing away with that. It's essentially bbq and chili without needing it at that point. Otherwise I really don't mind if it is dead on arrival since the healing nerfs will take up more time instead of gen time.
