  • It is just a badly designed system. If mmr defines win as getting kills, then the strategies, that are good for getting kills will pump your number up.

I dont think the starcraft analogy stands. You dont learn anything extra in this game by playing "fair". You just learn the same stuff faster. You still need to catch them to tunnel/camp.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Switching to surv role. DEVS please give me killer opponents to play with

Me too. I used to play killer a lot, but nowadays only for tomes and rituals and thats frustrating enough as it is already.

  • *game is not fun for killer

There, fixed it for you. The killers are playing survivor or some other game.

  • The best thing you can do is trying to predict when he is going to use the tentacle (most of them are very eager to use it on every pallet) and try to dodge it or don't throw the pallent and run another round, then throw the pallet on him when he tries to just run through. The hitbox of the tentacle is very narrow so i'ts fairly easy to dodge and recovering from a miss or even just putting away the tentacle takes ages.

I would get rid of Noed or give it a massive overhaul. Rewarding killers end game who have played poorly is a broken feature and works against killers developing skill.

I would also say bbq and chili. Killer should see one players aura upon hooking another survivor.

which do you think need a rework or nerf?

This might be controversiaI, but I think Noed is completely fine. In my opinion it isn't rewarding a bad killer, but punishing lazy/bad survivors.

There are countless tools to help get rid of totems. But for some reason even swfs don't use them, while they can have just 1 person worry about totems. You could argue that if you play solo it might be a waste to bring totem perks, because others will too, but just look at how often you see those perks (when there aren't many totem challanges). In some cases you can even tell the others in pre-game chat, that you will take care of totems. Even if multiple people bring them they are still not a complete waste because you 2 will get rid of them faster and can work on gens sooner. And no, you are not bringing it to just counter one perk the killer might doen't even have, but almost every other hex perk.

When i play survivor i often go on totem duty, because it is more fun than just holding m1 and often pays off.

A couple of years ago the totems were often all cleansed so i stopped using Noed but now I can't remember the last time my noed didn't activate, so I started using it again and I encourage others to give it a go. It can be really fun to get revenge on those careless toolbox heroes.

BBQ is terrible on almost every killer and is mainly used for the bloodpoint bonus.

  • When the killer is carrying someone i bodyblock while crouching and i throw it down at the same time the killer hits me. This got the save 5/5 times so far. Never tried what it looks like from the killer's perspective but it's probably hard to notice i threw a flashbang this way or they think it was just a free hit.

It will only work once in the same match, but for that alone it's worth it in my opinion.
