I know I'm necro-ing a thread from a while back but I was looking to see if this had been suggested because I've seen in my last few weeks of being back playing DBD, that all the P100 people I come across just get tunneled and there is just... An endless marathon of dodging before we finally get a game where they get then tunneled out of the game.
Sometimes, they get tunneled and then the killer resumes playing as normal which is almost as bad as when there's a TTV who instantly gets tunneled at least the TTV is actively choosing to put that on display.
You could argue "Just don't play your p100 then" but they leveled that character to p100 because they love that character, why can't they play the character they like AND have a good and healthy game environment?
Not only is it unfun for the p100 person, but it's also incredibly unfun and unfair to the people that play with them, it's almost to the point I might as well dodge their games too, because I know they're going to have a bad time and subsequently the rest of us will likely have a bad time.
It was bad to show ranks because of dodging and game health, it's bad to show prestige for the same reason.
I hope BHVR does something about this because I found threads about this going back as far as January and February of 2023 about this same issue.

The moonlight items being disabled. That was the "best" offering that a survivor had and it didn't really affect the game outside of mildly changing the brightness/darkness of the map. It was really neat to use it and a murky and have the entire map be even spookier, especially against someone like Myers. It was an atmosphere thing. They could've at least allowed them to still have them in custom games at the very least. There are very few game influencing offerings - its just.. Oh are you gonna get mori'd after being hooked? Are you going to spawn together? Is it going to be this map?

Ahhh good ol' team tyranny at it again.

A friend of mine also had a very good point about the kill (4k) percentage stats at red ranks, a fair chunk of the survivors that are surviving are probably the last person getting hatch because the killer decided to be nice. Which means that the killers actual kill (4k) percentage probably should be 5-6 percent higher than it is for each killer.
So the highest one is 76 percent to get a 4k at red ranks, right? So add on another 5-6% and that puts that killer at 81 / 82 percent chance to have a 4k.

Since you all insist this is the number 1 counter-play of the century

A twitch video is a stream where you can see it working over an extended period of time, while youtube tends to be highlights. Though at this point I'd be satisfied with seeing a youtube video of a 4 man group using it to bully a high rank killer.
Yeah just your sentence was a bit silly - GIMME VIDEO PROOF BUT NONE OF THAT THERE YOUTUBE. lol

If they legion oni i'm gonna be really sad. He's in such a good spot at the moment and got good counterplay, any nerfs could make him a plaything for any survivor.
Quick question by being in "a good place" mean that you get a 4k and all the survivors depip or safety at best?
New idea! Best one yet! Replace all survivors with bots and the only thing people can play is killer! No one else but the killer is allowed to have a good time or earn any progress in the game, right? Otherwise that means he's in a "bad spot" because even the "worst" killer having a 60% chance to have a 4k at red ranks means the killer is absolute garbage!
Killers are so disenfranchised! Why it's simply a miracle any killers play at all - but hm.. I wonder why that killer queue time keeps going up exponentially every week..
Get a friggin' grip, he snowballs out of control and all he has to do is bloodlust gamer you and THAT doesn't take long enough to do 2 gens. I'd rather have a friggin' camper than a killer that literally wins after two attacks. Whats next? Killer that hits you once and the entity kills everyone?

SWF wasn't in the game by base, people back around the release of DBD actually did this
That we did! Was a terrible time LOL

@Jukenobi Bamboozle don't even counter most of those loops because there is windows in each side. plus yes i drop chase very often and you know what another survivor do the same.

People like you don't understand the point and it's better that none of you reply, if is for saying this kind of BS. Loops shouldn't be an infinite they should be here to survive not being safe for 5 gens like it or not.

Only badham and hawkings isn't.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/905489#Comment_905489
Survive yes, looping killers for oblivion no !. Loops shouldn't be connected and reduce the skill by a lot. It's like telling me that haddonfield infinite loop is the most balanced on the game. I don't know what rank you are but me i'm rank 1. I know how to play man, i know when to drop chase killers shouldn't feel the need to drop the chase because some maps strong connected design.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/905497#Comment_905497
Macmillan are most the one with three connected tiles. Suffocation Pit is the most painful map.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/905558#Comment_905558
If you feel that is normal you are probably a survivor main. There is no point for you to comment. The game is not even balanced for a 50% escape/kill. Most of the data devs give us are wrong. Many include DC and suicide.
Play Killer with those tiles connected with a strong team then come back and tell me how you feel.
Sorry bruv but if you're getting looped for 5 gens you're doing something wrong.

4 people using breakout is 4 people throwing a game. Show me a VOD on twitch of a break out squad bullying the killer with this perk. I'd be willing to bet that there aren't any or it's like I said and they threw the game trying. Youtube videos don't qualify because you can show one success per 100 failures on youtube.
Wait.. You asked for video proof and then say that youtube videos don't count? What?

For the record I play about 95% killer, I'm just very open to the fact survivors have a lot of bullshit they have to deal with as well and for some reason some people cannot comprehend that.
Ahh! Well like I said I only know who you are because of Cry and the person was being derogatory because the poster mentioned you, which made me assume you must be a survivor main if someones using them watching you in a weaponized way.

You watch Scott. Not survivor favored. Olay then.
Allow me to paint you a picture but firstly, you're being obstinate and also unnecessarily disparaging, so chill your dongles while you're ahead buddy. Just because they know of someone and have examples of someones game-play doesn't make them a fan, doesn't make them biased.
I've never watched that streamer in my life and only know his name because of Cryoatic does that magically make me biased towards x or y because I know the streamers name and who he knows as a person? No it does not. Perhaps you need to fix your cranial rectal syndrome before you start deciding things that people are or aren't.
Furthermore, this picture I'm going to paint for you - because this streamer is more of a survivor player and did exceedingly well on Oni, you realize that illustrates exactly what the main post and poster have been saying? That the killer is OVER-TUNED

Maybe on PC but that is not happening on console lol
I have heard from a few ex-console people that the game honestly was never really meant to be a console game. I feel for your plight although I have no personal knowledge of whether or not the actual killer is as you say on console. I hope that they can bring consoles to a better place health wise in the future.
However the state of the consoles does not in any way have a bearing on the majority of the player base (PC) and whether or not the killers are incredibly weak/powerful for them. That's like me telling you that your game of golf is wrong and you're being stupid because I know all the rules to pool. It's apples to oranges.

I didn't read the post because there are literally no spaces between paragraphs and it hurts my eyes, but going off the title, yes he is. Myers is incredibly overrated IMO, he's good but it isn't a high tier like people make him out too be.
Oni is on par with Billy. They both have ups and downs but they are both really strong killers.
You realize that Hillbilly, Nurse and Spirit are considered S (as in BEST OF THE BEST) tier killers?

Yeah just don't get hit bud. Deny that first hit for as long as possible and he's essentially a killer with no power. Do gens and you'll be fine. If you think he's oppressive you must not go against good nurses/spirits much.
Oh, just don't get hit 4head. Why didn't anyone ever think about that before? We don't need decisive strike or borrowed time or MEDKITS anymore because of your pioneering ideas /s
What about when he spawns within viewing distance of you? What about when your teammate gets hit and he starts rampaging around the map, I've legit seen rank 1 survivors all get downed in under a minute and it wasn't an SWF. What about how you leave a trail of literal breadcrumbs when you're hurt and being chased (and mind you, the meta build right now is to slow down the game with sloppy, etcetera.) and losing him is nigh impossible? How about the fact he's like a nascar Billy on steroids? At least you can run a nascar Billy into a wall. At least when you get downed by a Hillbilly player you know he was actually putting in effort to hit you.
Right now the go to is, chase one survivor blood lust until you get a hit, chase next survivor and blood lust til you get another hit (so lets say 1 minute and 30 seconds of chase.) and then demon form to winmode.
This scenario above is while they're the toxic "your game is slower than slow" build. Oh, just don't get found 4head.
I'd rather play against a spirit or a nurse, at least you have a chance to actually get away from them.. Because "just loop him 4head" doesn't work because they have blood lust or have you forgotten that little chestnut?
The only build that a few of my DBD friends and I have thought about to lose him is
Head on
Iron Will
Quick and Quiet
Inner Strength
Let's not mention that his blood orbs are literally infinite in duration, you spawn them if you're even in the outskirts of his terror radius and he can have 100 on the map which is 2 1/2 recharges of his ability. On a map like Coal Tower where you aren't far from the killers terror radius at all times, that's essentially a fiesta of blood orbs at his disposal, that's not counting the half bar he gets for hitting people, the fact that while he's sucking there'is more than likely someone spawning more just within his terror radius that he's eventually going to run into.
Again the fact that you can loop him (JUST DON'T GET HIT 4HEAD) and if you're injured, you're just feeding him another demon form. What if you loop him and someone enters the area where you're looping him, he sees them and he goes and smacks them. He now has demon form, he now downs one or both of you. What would you do in this situation? Oh just don't get hit 4head.
He's oppressive and overtuned and, yes, if he weren't over-tuned he'd be really neat, actually kinda scary and fun to play against. Instead he's Hillbilly without the risks and Hillbilly is just barely balanced because he can ######### up and ram into a wall. Oni loses nothing, he doesn't even have his demon form go down when he attacks or uses it. It's a fixed timer. It's like playing against a Michael Myers that only had to look at you for 3 seconds and then he straps a jetplane to his back and zooms around the map while retaining the control of his regular moveset except just slightly less agile.
Please don't preach to me or anyone about how, "They should play against Nurse or Spirit, then they'll see the light." That's saying, "Oh well he's OP yeah but they were worse." Comparing apples to apples isn't going to get anyone anywhere and just makes you look like a tool.
Oh but right, I forgot... Just don't get hit 4head.
